836 Tasting Notes
I love the balance of flavours in this brew and that the tea base is quite good and able to come through. I can taste a mild coconutty flavour.
Thanks to MissB for making up a sample of this one for me to try
Flavors: Coconut
Preparation
Very realistic raspberry flavour. Just the right amount of tartness. Raspberry is balanced quite nicely with rooibos flavour. The flavours might just be a little bit dilute but there isn’t anything overly artificial-tasting in this blend.
Flavors: Raspberry, Rooibos
Preparation
A pretty good melon flavouring. I really enjoy the pairing of white tea with melon flavour. The company that does this combination best, in my experience, is Butiki Teas (very unfortunately no longer in business). I’m having trouble tasting the white tea in this blend, which is the norm for DAVIDsTEA.

Preparation
My initial thoughts on the chocolate flavour of this tea is that it tastes a bit like a chocolate liqueur. It is a bit mild on the sip with a slight dark chocolately bloom on the aftertaste The chocolate has a bit of the soapy taste that I get a lot with DAVIDsTEA chocolate teas. I can’t seem to properly taste the black tea in this blend which is also common with the flavoured DAVIDsTEA teas that I have tried. I just looked at the ingredients and there is supposed to be peppercorn in here which I absolutely cannot taste (unlike in Chocolate Chili Chai, also by DAVIDsTEA).
