This is the last of the samples that kimquat sent me. Oh my goodness.
This was is the best. I’ve tried quite a few good teas from that swap…But this one. Wow. This one is amazing.
Cocoa. Honey. Graham Crackers. Raisins. Chocolate.
Ugh.
This tea is just incredible.
Might actually by my favorite from Verdant so far.
I think I over steeped it by a minute or two, but it’s not bitter at all!
Wow. You just have to try this tea. So good!
I am definitely gonna buy it if It ever becomes available again!

Eh, thought this one was gonna taste a whole lot better than it actually did.
Literally all I taste is cream. Definitely sticks with the name. But I was expecting something more for some reason. xD

Hints of earthiness but hardly noticeable. Definitely another win! Probably something I’d consider ordering in the future even. :O

Got this one in my last swap with mj! Was going to try it like a month ago…but somehow it got lost on my shelf. Finally recovered it while organizing my tea the other day. So finally getting to try it!

Well whoever it’s from I definitely owe them some tea because as skeptical as I was over Creme Brulee teas lately, I actually thoroughly enjoyed this tea. I can’t even place what I like about it so much….
I’m getting a crap load of caramel from this tea right now, and it’s amazing. It’s strong and sweet. Don’t even need to think about adding anything to enhance the flavor. It’s delicious! Definitely a win!
If I ever place another Simpson & Vail order, definitely getting this one!

So here’s quick reviews about two unnamed oolongs that Albertocanfly sent me. Oh how I love mysterious oolongs. :P This is the kind of tea I’m used to drinking-haha!
Also, steeped both of them grandpa style. Just like I used to all the time before I realized steeping times existed.
So the first one is pretty roasty. Not overly so, but enough to be the main flavor of it.
Second was pretty green-y. Pretty grassy. Definitely not my kind of oolong. xD
Not my favorite oolong but I definitely enjoyed trying them! It’s been a while since I drank oolong. But it’s nice to go back to my first love in the tea world :P

Got this one from Sarsonator in our swap a few weeks ago. She surprised me and gave me a whole lot of Teavivre samples. ^^ Because she is just awesome like that!
Now unlike Oriental Beauty, this one actually is floral-y.
It’s smooth and strong. Kinda grassy but really floral-y.
So it’s definitely a win in my mind! Woo!

Got this sample from Albertocanfly a few months ago. Haven’t actually had an Oriental Beauty yet, I don’t think. But this seemed to be well praised, so figured it was about time I had this one.
For some reason, I was expecting it to be more floral….
But it kinda turned out to taste a lot like grapes. Kinda vegetable and sweet. Really sweet actually.
This is just a weird combo of flavors. xD I don’t really know how to feel about this one-haha! Luckily Albertocanfly gave me a few tsp so I have time to figure out what I think. I don’t not like it. It’s not what I expected, but I guess I’ll just see if I like it. xD So I’ll wait to rate this.
