Got a sample of this tea from Christina!
Think I oversteeped it a wee bit because I was talking to my mum. Didn’t seem bitter though, so that’s good!
This one isn’t too strong, it’s pretty light.
Definitely tastes like roasted chestnuts…well…more like roasted sweet chestnuts. Because it has a certain sweetness to it. Not my favorite tea, and wouldn’t buy it ever, but glad I sampled it! Thanks so much for the sample. Christina! :D

Heard that this one tastes a lot like their other tea Snowflake which I’m MADLY in love with. xD But this one is a lot softer. Not nearly as good as Snowflake though.
This one is creamy and light.
Lots of almond and vanilla flavor. Which is pretty good, but not as good as the other tea I’ve had from them.
I almost actually bought this one, but I’m so glad I didn’t and just got Snowflake instead. But it’s pretty good still. Just not something I’d purchase.
Thank you, Albertocanfly for this sample!! ^^

Flavors: Almond, Vanilla

This one tasted much better to me with 2 tsp of tea :D So glad you got to try a tea you were curious about!^.^

Oo I’ll try that with the rest of the tea, thanks for the tip! And thanks again! Excited to try the others too!

Good plan! I hope it turns out better for you! :]
Eeep!^.^ I’m so glad!!

I believe I got this one from QueenofTarts. I need to remember who sent me which samples better before I put them with the other samples I need to try. >< I’m like 99% Sure this is from QueenofTarts, but correct me if I’m wrong. xD
Anyway, this one smells and tastes strongly of vanilla bean.
One of the better vanilla teas I’ve tried so far actually. Lovely tea for this afternoon. Thank you so much, QueenofTarts Or whoever else might have given that to me. xD

Flavors: Vanilla

I sent this to you! :) Glad you’ve had a cup already and enjoyed it.

I forgot we swapped the other day for some reason but I figured it out-haha! I’m kinda slow. I can’t wait to try the other teas you sent (: Thank you so much again!

Decided to order this one since Steven Smith Teamaker is having a small sale, and since i’m working again I have more money! Glad I took a chance and got this one.
It’s delicious! :O
Rich. Strong. Malty. Fruity. Honey.
A lovely tea!
And guess what! NO WOODY TASTE!
Yah! I’m so excited! :D

drank White Peach by Harney & Sons

Got this one a month or so ago…whenever I was getting over my last cold. I tried it then and didn’t taste much but sourness. Finally giving it a decent chance.
I can taste the vanilla in this one now! XD Totally missed that last time.
But it’s a lovely peach tea.
Wouldn’t buy it again, the it’s still nice. the 50 bags I have will last long enough, I’m sure! Another good tea from H&S!

Finished the last of this sample today…a sad sample sipdown.
I wasn’t super sure of it at first. But a few more cups of it, and it made me consider really buying it again. I really dig the malt in this one.
Malt and vanilla. It’s just such a good combo.
I really like it in this one.
Might have to get more of this one.
Thanks to Mandy for this sample again! ^^

This tea will always make me so happy! It’s just like eating a sugar cookie, which I absolutely love! Makes me wish I lived in a place that actually gets a real “winter”. Would be the perfect tea for cold weather. Maybe one day I’ll live in a colder place. That would be nice.
But for now this tea will just leave me wishing. xD

Hah trade you! If I never saw snow ever again, I would be happy. I don’t mind short, mild winters, but here they’re usually incredibly long and bitterly cold.

This tea sounds tasty. Now I kind of want to bake sugar cookies.

Soooooo ready for a new box of this!

feels like everyone has been drinking this lately…thought I’d join in finally. xD
I am happy I finally decided to drink it again now. Rough day. But this makes me feel a bit happier. It is comforting to have tea on the bad days (:
And it’s just as good as I remembered. Taste cherries and cocoa. And actually some malt that I don’t quite remember last time.
Lovely tea. Even on that bad days (:

Flavors: Cherry, Cocoa, Malt, Thick

I hope today is a better day. Good tea always makes me feel better during or after a rough day.

This is on my to try list!

drank Da Yu Ling Oolong Tea by Yezi Tea

Got a sample of this with my Yezi Tea order.
A few months ago I got Tealux’s version of as a sample from Virginia, and I absolutely loved it! So when I saw this tea on the Yezi Tea website, I couldn’t resist getting it!
It has that floral, perfume-y tea that I so adored in the Tealux version.
It has a certain creaminess, that’s not really my thing in oolongs so much, but the floral-ness makes it more drinkable for me.
It has that certain creaminess that I’ve tasted in milk oolongs…the kind that makes me kinda feel sick. xD So I’m glad that there’s a lot of floral in this.
But I think I like the Tealux version better.
Still a lovely cup of tea though. (:

drank Vanilla Comoro by Harney & Sons

After the last desert tea I began to get a craving for vanilla teas. I was going to drink The Persimmon Tree’s Periwinkle, but that will make me more awake than I want to be this afternoon.
Was kinda sad, but then I remembered that I had this vanilla black that’s decaf! :O
Harney & Sons has saved the day! :D
Mmm this one hit the spot. ^^

The Cookie Lady

That’s something I have yet to try…a decaf version of any normally caffeinated tea. Can you tell by taste that it is decaf?

Hmm I don’t think so. I have the decaf version of Paris and the normal version of Paris and I definitely taste a difference but I can’t really tell with this one.

In my opinion, this is the best decaffeinated tea that I’ve tried. I’ve tried quite a few and I’ve tried some really good ones and some not so great ones … this one is the best I’ve yet to try because it doesn’t taste decaffeinated.

The Cookie Lady

Well, that’s exciting news because I used to love drinking Bigelow’s French Vanilla at night till I figured out that might be why I wasn’t sleeping ;) It would be nice to find something that still has that kind of flavor (instead of a vanilla honeybush or rooibos) without the caffeine. Thanks for the tip!

Oh well that might be a good tea for you, The Cookie Lady! :D Definitely get some with your next H&S order!!

I’m not too sharp with intros, but I figured it is about time to give it a go.
I started out drinking oolong and green tea that my dad brought home from his China business trips.
Then I discovered Teavana, and fell in love with some of their teas. Eventually I stumbled across Steepster, and a whole ‘nother world opened up.
Have discovered so many different kinds of teas, and have been loving this journey! The tea world is insanely big and amazing! And I’ve met some of the kindest people here who have broadened my horizons in more ways I could have imagined! Happy to be here, and to be drinking so many amazing teas! :D

My rating system:
1-59: Really really not a fan. An awful cup of tea for me…Totally undrinkable.

60-69: Not horrible, but not something I’d ever drink again willingly.

70-79: Pretty good. Wouldn’t mind drinking ever so often. But not a keeper.

80-100: FREAKIN’ AMAZING. Always keeping on stock in my home!!

I like pretty much any kind of tea except green tea. Unless it’s genmaicha or strongly flavored, I don’t like it usually.

My Tea Goals:
To find the Best Caramel Tea
To find the Best Vanilla Tea
To find the Best floral Oolong
To find the Best Malty Assam Tea
To find the Best Maple/Syrup Tea

Notes I like: Fruit(primarily peach, melon/honeydew, Banana, Kiwi, but I’m open to other kinds), Malt, Desserts (Toffee, Cake, Cookie, etc), Vanilla, Caramel, Floral, Sweet potato, Pastry/Bread,Jasmine, Honey, Cocoa, Chocolate, Maple, Nutty, Coconut, Almond.

Notes I’m Picky with: Lemon, Chai, Roasted, Blueberries, Hibiscus, Smoke, Earthiness, Puerhs, White Teas, and Cinnamon

Notes I hate: Citrus/Orange (Everything that I hate in this life that I have to take for my health is orange flavored, and it just makes me gag…so please…just no), Watermelon, Raspberry, Wood, Apple, Bacon, Lavender, Most mints, Pepper, Spicy, Tart/sour.

Yes, I am a picky tea drinker, but I’ll usually try any straight black or oolong tea that I receive. I like most oolongs, and I’m still discovering straight blacks. They always seem to surprise me no matter what!

And Swaps! I’m always down for swapping. Everything in my cupboard is swap-able. So just hit me up and send a message and we can totally do that!

On an unrelated to tea note, my other interests are limited due to health issues. But when I can, I enjoy reading and writing. Watching Netflix and YouTube have also been fantastic when I feel awful (which is most of the time).
I love Rifftrax, Rooster Teeth, Dexter, Hannibal, BBC’s Robin Hood, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Psych, and Parks and Rec.
Love watching all sorts of movies too, but that would be too much to list. :P
I’m definitely more of an internet person and love talking to people on every website I’m on. So if you ever wanna chat, shoot me a message! ^^
