The only reason I picked up this tea is because my cat’s name is kiwi :p. I didnt like the smell of this the first time I smelled it but the girl who was serving me said that it smells better when it is brewed. I picked up a 50g bag and was not dissapointed. It tastes good warm and I think it could be really good iced.

This tea smells exactly like those little red heart candies that everyone seems to have around valentines day…probably why this was last years february tea of the month! I did enjoy this tea…I haven’t drank many cups but I will finish the pouch.

I’ve had this tea for a while and have only had a couple of cups. I love pomegranate and I love tea but together, I found it very syropy. I might try it iced in the summer but I probably won’t get any more.

I found this tea very nutty and as I am not a big fan of nutty teas, it was just OK for me. I would have it again but maybe not all the time so I’m glad I just picked up about 10g.

Perfection…This was a recomendation by one of the employees and the first time I had it, I got it to go. It was so good, I went back the next day and picked up 50g. The only critique I have is the price and that is why I only picked up 50g. There is not much tea in there and most of the dry leaves is large fruit pieces. Nevertheless, the taste is so fruity..permenant collection!

WOW! This tea is sweet…I got this one to go and asked for agave. I dont know how much they put in it but next time I may just have it unsweetened (thats right…I would have it again!). I dont know if I would buy a tin but I could definetly see a 50g bag of it in my future.

This was a reccomendation made to me by one of the employees last time I visited. When I first smelled it a while back, I really wasnt a fan of the smell however, the last time I smelled it, I did like the smell. This tea is really creamy which I ennjoyed and surprisingly (especially for a white tea) it did give a re-steep which was up to the standards of the first. I would have this again for sure.

I’m glad its not just me…this tea really does taste like fuzzy peaches! I was so surprised when I read the ingredients to discover that there are not even any peaches in it! I think it might be the jasmine as I have tried other teas such as Three Wishes Tea which also have jasmine and have a peachy smell and taste. I picked up a 10 g sample yesterday and probably won’t buy anymore but I am glad that I tried it. :)

Well…this tea is true to it’s name…it sure tastes like apples. I ordered this to go and did finish the cup but it was not good enough to go back and buy. I’m glad that I tried it but won’t be dissapointed if I dont try it again.

Out of the Winter Collection (besides Chocolate Chili Chai), this is the one that I have used the most. I really like this one. Too bad it is only out for a limited time because I really do like it. I find it tastes just like it smells…like cookies! I was expecting it to be really sweet and it wasnt. Even with agave it was great!

Profile

Bio

I am a tea fanatic and have also recently made the transition from vegetarian to vegan! I always have tea in my hand and in my overflowing cupboard!

I prefer black, green and white teas. I have recently discovered mate and oolongs. So far I’ve enjoyed them however, I have not tried very many. I am not often a fan of rooibos as I tend to find them overly woody but have found there to be some exceptions. As for herbals, I am only recently beginning to drink these on a regular basis (mostly iced) as the weather gets warmer, but these I am willing to try. I have not yet developped the taste for pu’erh.

I tend to only rate and review the teas I drink once (maybe twice if my opinion REALLY changes; especially if I were to have them prepared a different way). I currently only use Steepster for logging my reviews of David’s Tea although I do drink teas from many different companies. Every time I visit the store, I try something new in a cup to-go as I enjoy going through the tea menu and marking off teas as I try them. My goal is to try them all!

My rating system is as follows:
90-100: Wecome to my permanent collection! (worthy of a 100g tin!)

75-90: Definetly would drink again but maybe not all the time. I would buy a small amount (50g or less) to have once in a while.

50-75: I will finish the cup but not my favourite.

25-50: I will try to finish the cup but may not be able to.

0-25: Not my cup of tea…down the sink we go!
