Sipdown, and I’m counting this as an apple tea for Mastress Alita’s sipdown challenge! I prefer ginger teas for a cold, but this was a nice peppermint blend for migraines. I don’t often use sachets because so many of them are made with plastic – even for teas that come in sachets, I’ll open them up and put the leaves in a metal strainer. So it’s really nice to know that DT’s sachets aren’t made of plastic and I can just use them as an easy way to brew when I’m not feeling well. The blend itself is serviceable but not notable – it tastes ok but I’m not really here for the flavor, you know? Although I did recently have the experience of drinking much lower quality peppermint tea that was particularly bland and this blows that out of the water by actually having flavor. I’m just spoiled.
