Preparation
Water: 8oz Boiling
Leaves: Various mixture of petals & fruit
Steep: 9m
Aroma: Sweet Apple
Color: Deep Red
Taste: This tea is good reminded me of when I had Teavivre’s blueberry tea. It’s a bit on the tart side but I didn’t want to add any sugar to it.I think I might also want to try it cold, since I normally drink my teas hot.Roselle being one of the ingredients is really good for you so that is another plus with this tea. I tried one of the dried apple pieces it had a nice sweetness to it as well.
Preparation
Water: 8oz Boiling
Leaves: Medium size slices
Steep: 10m to 15m
Aroma: Sweet Berry
Color: Light yellow
Taste: I decided to buy this tea after watching a YouTube video on Chinese Beauty Secrets. The video provided me information on just how healthy this tea is for you! I did my own research as well. After I went to my local Chinese Supermarket and picked up a bag for about $2.49! Even the lady at the check out lane told me how good it is for you! A day or so later I decided to give it a try it had a nice sweet berry scent.I used 5 pieces in 8oz of water. The tea has a bit of tartness with a very flavorful berry taste! You can even add a bit of honey if needed, I did it the flavor is still great!

Preparation
Water: 8oz at 175 degrees
Leaves: Tiny deep green strands
Steep: 1m & 3s,6s,9s,12s,15s,18s
Aroma: Grassy
Color: Greenish yellow changes w/more infusions
Taste: This is my first Verdant Tea I did their 5 teas for 5$ special. I tend to favor green teas more so i choose this one to start with.Right away what stood out was the aroma very nice something you wouldn’t mind smelling again.I brewed this tea using a couple of different methods both Western and Gongfu.I noticed that with the Gongfu method you get many more infusions. With both methods I noticed a hint of bitterness when drinking.
Preparation
Water: 8oz boiling water
Leaves: small circled to huge full tea leaves
Steep: 2m
Aroma: light (different from previous oolong i had)
Color: yellow green
Taste: I had rinsed this tea first i think that is what washed all of my initial flavor away thus making this tea quite dull.I’m going to have to brew it again to see if i get a better taste. Oolings are fun to watch due to their huge leaves.
Preparation
Water: I boiled 8oz water on the stove, then let cool for 5 minutes.
Leaves: medium size tea buds, greenish-brown & fuzzy
Steep: 2m
Aroma: Strong Jasmine
Color: pale almost clear
Taste: The jasmine aroma of this tea was quite strong but i didn’t really get any floral taste. It reminded me of the Organic Silver Needle White Tea just with a scent added. I didn’t get a lot of taste from this tea, it was okay.
Preparation
Water: 8oz boiling water
Leaves: very tiny brownish-black leaves
Steep: 2m
Aroma: Smokey
Color: Black
Taste: Before buying this tea i had never heard of Pu-erh before, it was something completely new and still is. Before brewing I had rinsed the tea twice each time for 1 minute b/c I read it’s good to rinse Pu-erh. Then the brewing process I was surprised at how dark the color was it remind me of black coffee. As for the taste I’m not sure how to describe it, but it’s a very smooth tea.
Preparation
Alreot – my opinion, a rinse of only a couple seconds is enough (I usually don’t rinse at all). Also you can steep this for 30 seconds or less and it will give a nice cup that is a lighter in color but just as smooth. It will resteep many times changing slightly in flavor as you go.
