10 Tasting Notes
This mate is pretty good! Out of all of the mate I’ve tried this is my favorite. There is a bit of smokiness that you can taste while drinking it, and it’s really smooth. I can also taste hints of chocolate. Overall I like it, but I probably wouldn’t drink it everyday.
Flavors: Chocolate, Smoke
Preparation
This is my absolute favorite chai! I have occasionally gotten the spiciness that some of the other reviewers have mentioned, but usually it’s perfectly smooth. The rooibos doesn’t manifest itself too much, though I wouldn’t mind if it did. The smell of cloves and cinnamon is usually the main thing I smell while it’s steeping. I usually add a little milk to this one to have before bed.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves
I LOVE this!!! Oh man, this is a real dessert. I didn’t add any sugar to this just because there’s already so much in it, but I did froth some almond milk and added it and it was delicious. The taste reminds me of those raspberry cream savers, I’m not sure if they still sell them cause I haven’t had them in years. The only downside is that two ounces of this tea seems like nothing, I went through it so fast. While I think that’s because all the ingredients in this make it sort of heavy, it could be just because I loved it so much!
Flavors: Cream, Creamy, Raspberry, Sweet
So I bought a set of these teabags when they were on sale right after Christmas and I’m just now getting around to trying them. This is not my favorite tisane! I definitely get a berry fruit punch sort of taste from it that just tastes sort of artificial, which wasn’t awesome hot. It was sweet, so I didn’t add anything to it. I haven’t tried it as an iced tea though, so that’s what I’ll do next, maybe it was just that I didn’t enjoy it hot?
This stuff is potent. I have a few samples of it that I made while my husband was sick. One thing that is really nice about it is the eucalyptus (or juniper?) once it gets steeped and you breathe in the warm air from the tea will totally clear out your sinuses haha, it smells exactly like that chest rub ointment.
The taste is pretty good! Not something I would drink regularly just because its really strong, but I liked it with a little bit of honey. If you don’t like your tea too strong make sure to watch this one while you’re steeping it cause it can become overwhelming pretty quickly.Flavors: Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Spearmint
This tea smells like fruit by the foot!! It took me forever to put my finger on it but now I’m positive that’s what this reminds me of. It’s pretty good! A little tart, but good. Probably one that I won’t go and buy more of once I run out, but it does make some decent iced tea (if I sweeten it enough).
Flavors: Apple, Tart
Yum! This was a fun one to try. I definitely could taste a lot of strawberry and a slight tartness from the rhubarb. I haven’t been able to taste the creaminess that I guess is supposed to be there, but I’m not really complaining, this tastes fantastic anyways. I especially like this one iced.
Flavors: Rhubarb, Strawberry
Oh Forever Nuts, you make me so happy. I got this tisane as a sample with one of my previous orders and I have since ordered several ounces of it. When I first opened the package I thought it smelled like a cinnamon roll! I actually made my husband come over and smell it too.
Steeping it is so fun because it turns bright pink! I actually added a splash of milk to mine as well and then it turns a lighter shade, but still pretty!
This tea was already sweet so I didn’t sweeten it, I just added a splash of milk. I could definitely taste almond, cinnamon, and apple, and for me it mostly smelled almondy and cinnamony (I know, those aren’t real words). I like drinking this at night as it really helps me relax.
