Well. This is a weird one. xD
Got a couple tea bags of this from The Cookie Lady. Didn’t seem like something I’d like, but I figured I might as well try it! I get surprised so often in the tea world, I figure that everything deserves a chance!
So when I opened the package of this, it didn’t really smell like tea. In fact, it smelled like BBQ chips. None of my teas have even been near foods, nor have I eaten anything BBQ flavored. So that was confusing, but also made me more excited. xD
The steeping on this was like 10-15 minutes long also, which was really weird. And I kept forgetting (thanks to vicodin) and having mini-heart attacks that I was wayyy oversteeping the tea. But apparently these kinds of things steep for a long time I guess?
As for flavor, it didn’t taste like BBQ chips, which kinda disappointed me, to be honest. It would have been soo weird if it had tasted like that, but almost good-haha! The actual drink tasted more like dirt and peanuts. xD
It’s not horrible. But not anything I’d drink again.
It was exciting to try it though. It’s been a good day for trying all sorts of different teas! Glad I could try this one, even though it wasn’t the best.
Thanks, The Cookie Lady! :D
