Brewing Suggestions
1½ tsp. tea

8 oz. boiling (212°) water
Steep for 5 minutes

I’m pretty sure this tea is the same as Adagio’s honeybush pumpkin chai, which I’m not a huge fan of. It’s too sweet and fruity. The spices are way too light. I agree with earlier reviews saying it tastes like bubble gum. I love a spicy, slightly savory pumpkin chai. This is the opposite of that. I can see how others might enjoy this tea more, I’m just especially annoyed about inadvertently ordering a tea I already didn’t love.

Sipdown! Dominant flavors are cardamom, cinnamon, and pumpkin spice. It’s nice enough taken straight but I enjoy this tea best with some rice milk and pumpkin agave.

March Mad(Hatter) Tea Tournament!
Round #1 – Match #16    Harney & Sons – Yellow Fairy VS. Angry Tea Room – Pumpkin Patch Chai

The Yellow Fairy!  You can’t buy this stuff anymore.  It was originally amazing, now has since faded.  However, the Pumpkin Patch Chai was never pumpkin or chai in my opinion, so it was basically failing on all levels.  It’s really THE BUBBLEGUM TEA in my mind, and that is just nothing this is supposed to be.   What a fail.  It’s a decent cup if I’m not aware of the name.  So basically the winner by default is:   Yellow Fairy

Pumpkin Patch chai tasting like bubblegum? Big nope from me. I’m using to Christmassy/cider teas tasting like that but not pumpkin chai!
