  • “Usually I taste strawberry when I drink this tea. Today I am getting a fair bit of mint and I am okay with that. Also this is the one time that Teavana’s lack of actual tea leaves has served me well.” Read full tasting note

I really enjoy this tea. Very nice blend of strawberry and peppermint. I like to blend this with Teavana’s Blackberry Mojito Green tea and put it on ice. It’s a delicious mixture of berry and minty flavors. Not something I would have imagined myself.

I received this in a gift set. I don’t think it was a tea I would have normally picked out for myself. I’ve never had a Pu’erh. I try to stay away from black teas because of the caffeine. I drink a lot of teas at night so this isn’t one I’ve had before. I made a point to get up and make a cup of tea this morning and use this one. I’m really ,really surprised. I like it!! I can taste the berry. Strawberry maybe? and a hint of mint. I do normally add honey or rock sugar to most of my teas. I thought if this was a weight loss tea perhaps I wouldn’t need any sugar. Nope. It doesn’t need anything. I can see repurchasing this one as a morning pick me up! I think I’m a little to new to teas to have a discerning palate yet. I don’t get all the flavors that are in this one- yet. I’m certainly surprised and am enjoying it!

Marzipan

This sounds good, it’s an unfortunate name for it maybe?

I think it’s supposed to help with weight loss. Well, that’s what I get out of the name. I made it in my Breville one touch so I made enough for 2 cups. The second cup I let get a little cool. I noticed the bitter aftertaste when cold that I didn’t notice when hot. So, I think it’s best had hot.

The Cookie Lady

This tea has pu-erh in it, which is supposed to speed up metabolism (possibly helping with weight loss). I believe that’s the idea, anyway.

Your note about black tea and caffeine caught my eye. It’s strictly an urban myth that black tea has more caffeine than other kinds of tea. It all depends on how it’s processed. You can Google caffeine levels of different kinds of tea; here’s the first one I found" http://www.choiceorganicteas.com/caffeineintea.php. Hope that helps you sleep better at night!

Continuing my journey through strawberry teas! This one is not as bad as Strawberry Cream at least. I had it in store blended with Blood Orange Sorbet and it was pretty good so I was curious about how this would taste alone. The mint is more pronounced than I thought it would be judging from the smell alone, but the fruitiness really shines.

…and wow I JUST got the pun in the name. wow. okay.

Drinking my second steeping right now and added some Vanilla Oolong. Not bad :)

I have this tea every morning to start my day. It has a sweet taste and I find it very enjoyable. My only complaint is that I have to use a heaping table spoon sometimes more to get the tast to be strong enough, but once I found the correct amount to use it’s a wonderful way to start my day.

Great tea, I drink this one multiple times a week. Despite the mint in it it still makes a great iced tea. I love it.

I can’t decide how I feel about this tea. I like the flavor when I put a tsp of this one with a tsp of my green tea (Teavana – Sakura Allure). The first time I tried this one on it’s own I didn’t think much of it. Didn’t really seem to have much of a flavor. I decided to keep it and give it another try. I made this one today on my way out the door. It has started to get warm where I live and I walk to school. Once I arrived at class hot tea didn’t seem appealing. When I arrived home I decided to pour it over some ice in an attempt to make iced-tea. It is drinkable. However, it still doesn’t seem to have much flavor, or at least a flavor I can name. I brought this one because I thought I would like the strawberry flavor. Sadly, I do not taste any strawberry.

Absolutely love the mixture of fruits with a hint of peppermint. Also, apparently it helps aid in digestion which is something I myself struggle with! Love it after a big breakfast or dinner. :)

Sipdown (196/198)!

I overleaf the last cup to A) use up the extra leaf and B) see if I could make the flavours less muted. No luck; the cup was basically identical in taste to the one I made the day before, despite having double the leaf. Oh well, at least it didn’t taste bad.

Not going to be missed, but neat to have tried.

A little sour, slightly minty. More tolerable with sugar, but still just okay.

I like fruity teas, I like black teas, and I really like floral teas. I found a marriage worth drinking with this.
