6 Tasting Notes
I’m still working on the sample tin. I want to order more, but I need to replace my tea strainer first. When I have the means to do loose leaf tea again, this will be my all-purpose tea. It’s great for breakfast, and I suspect it will make an excellent iced tea (after all, it’s still pretty tasty even after it gets cold in the cup).
I love this tea. I had a hard time finding it, but I finally got my hands on a box today. I was actually surprised the first time I tried it. I didn’t think I’d like it since I don’t like Earl Grey. Even my ex-boyfriend likes it, and he doesn’t like black tea at all.
It smells very chocolaty, but I had to add a teaspoon of honey to bring out the flavor. I think that’s just me, though, and not the tea; I have to add honey to most of my teas for me to taste something other than water. Otherwise, it’s a nice, smooth tea that’s good for a mild chocolate craving or a little mood therapy.
