  • “Usually I taste strawberry when I drink this tea. Today I am getting a fair bit of mint and I am okay with that. Also this is the one time that Teavana’s lack of actual tea leaves has served me well.” Read full tasting note

Well, i’m quite surprised, I don’t hate it. It’s quite tasty, fruity and pepperminty… I think i quite like it. I would have it again. But make sure you don’t let it cool as it becomes quite tart. For those of you who know Mr. Sketch… it smells like the light blue marker…. Oh and I said “quite” quite often, buahahahaha

As with many of Teavana teas this one is very pretty to look at but the taste …well….not one that I wish to drink ever again.

thank you again BETH at the mayfair location for this great recommendation! the oolong gives it a caffeine punch and the puerh component tones down stickiness on the tongue from the tannic acid in adition to adding low tones of nuttiness.

this tea is light with a beautiful combination of fruit and flower notes, though none of them overpowering. although i haven’t tried it, i have every expectation that it will be brilliant iced. (i had waaaay too much fun today at teavana….. i need to seriously consider putting myself on a stricter tea budget!)

i just add a bit of sugar to this one, no need for cream because it’s so lovely clear. i have a single grouchy caveat: i dislike the name. if beth didn’t know me and what i like i wouldn’t have given this tea a second thought because the title rubs me the wrong way….. but in the grand scheme of things that is a very small gripe. head of the class teavana!

Sounds lovely!
P.S. Reality is, tea and budget don’t agree much with one another. Believe me, I’ve tried MANY times, haha!

Always a favorite. Mixed with Acai Matetini today. I needed something fruity and uplifting, and that’s what I got!

in the bag it smells like trident strawberry gum. steeped it smells like hot apple cider.

The taste is very interesting. I taste the trident strawberry gum but the after taste leaves your mouth with a mint flavor. Not mint flavoring but a mint leaf, like a mojito.

It is not bad. Not my favorite.

I completely get the strawberry Trident smell! … Not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing, but it is there!

I love this tea- a mild mint flavor (that is not as powerful as typical peppermint black tea) w/subtle background of strawberries to add some sweetness….

I hope everyone had nice and safe holidays… Ours were, well, interesting. I bought this tea for my Dad as part of his Christmas gift and I was second guessing myself since. Since, due to weather, we were not able to see my parents in time for Christmas dinner, I decided to give it a try and see if this is something he would actually like. I have to say I’m quite impressed. It has a wonderful aroma and delicious fruity taste with a slight hint of the mint. The taste of pu-erh definitely takes a back seat here but I think my Dad would love this. The only thing I don’t like is the name. I think the name is terrible and could turn people away. This tea can be enjoyed not only by those wanting to lose weight. I’m definitely going to gift this to my Dad.

It’s called a “oolong pu-erh blend”, but really it’s just a black floral. No pu-erh-like fermentation was noticeable. Maybe they thought Americans couldn’t handle pu-erh.

delicious. I really wasn’t expecting much from a tea touted as a weight loss aid, but wow. It is slightly tart and doesn’t require sweeteners. Not sure I taste peppermint, but that’s just as well. I love the strawberry note!

I got this for Valentine’s Day from James…I picked it out so it wasn’t offensive. It reminds me of Trident Strawberry Splash chewing gum. It’s very refreshing and that’s all I have to say now.
