From Teavana

A romance of the senses indulged with a soft bouquet of jasmine and orchid scents released from these three amazing teas. Nothing short of an aromatic masterpiece, this triple tea blends the Buddhist lengendary Monkey Picked Oolong, with Jasmine Pearls green tea, and white Silver Needle tea creating a perfect floral aroma and taste of jasmine and orchid. Uplifting to the body, soothing to the mind and soul with sweet notes that intertwine and enlighten.

Fragrant orchid infusion with jasmine undertones.

How to Prepare:
Use 1.5 teaspoons of tea per 8oz of water. Heat water to 175 degrees (79 degrees Celsius) and steep for 2 minutes. For stronger flavor, use more tea leaves. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.

Ingredients:
Monkey Picked oolong tea, Mao Feng white tea, Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls green tea.

A pretty nice one, at least on the first steeping. Second steeping still pretty good, but by the third it was basically wiped out (Western Style). Get some fruity tones from the earlier infusions, sort of hay-ish flavor throughout.

I have this tea currently in my university residence and I got to say that this tea is amazing to calm my nerves down when I needed to study or when I needed to de-stress myself from all whatever things has happen to my everyday lifestyle. Just adding a tiny bit makes those leaves expand pretty large and one mistake was when my boyfriends put 3 fingerful into the cup thinking that they don’t expand, but trust me they do expand pretty darn quick. It comes about half of his cup with leaves and of course I laugh at him that he added a little too much, now he learns his lesson. I love this tea a lot

Generally I’m not a big fan of Teavana teas…and this one isn’t really an exception. The jasmine is cloyingly overbearing – although I must admit I’m not generally a fan of that flavour, so grain of salt… – and it really just manages to come across as both perfume-y and astringent at the same time.

I think my issues with this tea really come from the jasmine…so it’s not one I’ll be drinking again. Bleh.

So I know that most of you have outgrown Teavana, or hated it from the beginning…but there are still some teas that I really love there and will probably still buy occasionally when I run out.
Not sure I will repurchase this one though. I have wavered on my love for Monkey Picked Oolong in my not drinking so many roasty teas lately. And plus, there are other places that carry Monkey Picked Oolong, and are wayy cheaper and good enough for a substitute. So far it’s Teavivre’s Monkey Picked Oolong that’s the best replacement.
But anyway. I probably could throw this tea together since it’s only silver needle, jasmine oolong, and monkey picked oolong.
So not sure if I will buy this again. $14 isn’t a horrible price for 2oz in my book if it’s all consisted of expensive teas anyway.
I steep this one grandpa style. It’s strong and perfume-y.
The silver needle has really grown on me in this tea. Sometimes it’s really strong, but this time the jasmine oolong took over. It’s a lovely tea, and something that I find myself craving from time to time.
I think Teavana did pretty good on this tea. Probably the best, or least one of the best teas they have. And not too overly priced!

This actually sounds like a good Teavana tea. Most of what I’ve had from there has been so disappointing. I did like the Jasmine silver needle, but not as much as I love TeaVivre’s version. Most of their teas are just filler and overpriced, which is my biggest problem.

I can send you a sample if you are that curious about it so you don’t gotta waste your money on a tea you might hate! Hit me up if you’re interested!
And totally get you on being disappointed. I’ve been more disappointed than not overall with their teas. But there are still some good ones worth the money!

Of the three teas in this blend, the taste which comes through the most strongly is the jasmine green tea (understandable, since it’s the only flavored one included). I’m a big fan of jasmine, so this isn’t a problem for me! It’s a little grassier than jasmine alone, and due to the white tea, easy to burn- though if you do, the bitterness is usually sufficiently muted by the others not to completely ruin your cup- but it’s very clean and fresh, and overall, nice to drink either hot or iced.

One of my favorite teas the subtly hint of jasmine is perfect with a tiny bit of honey added to the tea. I love it hot or iced

Might be my favorite jasmine.

The scent is overwhelmingly jasminey- light and floral. I have a bad habit of oversteeping my tea, but this came out without a hint of bitterness. Excellent stress-reliever after a long day.

This blend of White, Green and Oolong teas is perfect for someone who loves a good jasmine but would like to get the health benefits from multiple teas. It doesn’t need sweetener and steeps well all day long. This is my go-to tea as and all day drink at work.

You really have to like jasmine to enjoy this tea, as the jasmine pretty much overpowers everything else, in my opinion. I’m not that big a fan of jasmine, so I was rather disappointed by this tea, unfortunately. Though the jasmine does give a nice sweet flavor to the tea, I would prefer for the other flavors to come forward a bit more, but I can’t say I hate this tea. I just find it rather so-so.

This is quite tasty mixed with Teavana’s Rooibos Sweet Amore, so that’s how I’ve been drinking it lately. The Sweet Amore adds some light, fruity flavors that bring the jasmine flavor to the background a bit more. I very much like this combination! Next, I will try it with the Rooibos Tropica, as Teavana suggests.
