Wow, really sad about this tea. No fruity flavor at all even though it was packed with fruit. All I get is a strong light mint flavor. Not opposed to mint but thought the other ingredients would come through. Will try it cold br iced next time.

I have no idea where the “scarlet” in Scarlet Cloud comes from. The color of the tea is a white peach. The raspberries in the tea offer no flavor at all. Neither does the blackberries or peach. It’s very sad to have a tea filled with fruit be so tasteless (I tried getting more of the tea leaves in the infuser, but it was still a ton of fruit.) I think the mint is included only to mask the fact that the only flavor is an odd vegetal taste. Which is fine if that is what you are expecting. Also, I love the “downy” in the description. There was a lot of floaty suspended particles in the water, making it cloudy. Hey, maybe THAT is where the name was thought up! I don’t know why I bought this. It seems like Teavana’s prices are so high to get people to think their teas are good. Then if they have a sale, I think it backfires on Teavana when people who usually aren’t customers buy their teas, that are on sale for a reason (and I think these sale prices should be their not-on-sale prices). The customers might not come back. I think I would much rather save up my money on an indie tea company that has teas that never fail. I’ve learned my lesson! I’ll be doing that in the future.

Made this this morning because my mom was dizzy and I thought the spearmint would help. Made a small pot instead of a cup because why not have some myself while I’m at it?

This tea is pretty much how I remembered it. It’s not the greatest, but it’s not bad either. It’s simply a mellow flavored white tea with giant fruit pieces and spearmint.

This tea isn’t something I turn to for its flavor but it is something I like to drink for headaches and dizziness.

PS – It did help relieve my mom’s dizziness, so that makes me happy :)

I agree with the others on this one. It is almost nigh impossible to get a perfect cup; however, on the (miraculous) chance that one happens to get all of this tea’s ingredients in the proper ratios it makes a very beautiful cup of tea.

It’s quiet with a bit of fruit and a refreshing mint aftertaste. That’s my ideal experience (personally, at least).

It has potential, but it’s too much work to micromanage the individual facets of this blend.

I found this tea to be unsatisfying. The minty aroma somehow doesn’t smell that wonderful to my nose. The tea gets bitter easily so I steep for 1.5 minutes. The flavor is weak but is enlivened with sweetener. I have used the German rock sugar, which allows me to drink it rather than let it go to waste.
