Huh. This is, indeed, deliciously blueberry, especially in the smell as it steeps but also in the flavor. However—

Did I do something wrong to the white tea underneath it? I haven’t had much white tea, but the one word that everyone uses over and over for it is “delicate”. This tea doesn’t taste delicate, so I can only conclude that it is delicate: I have been too rough, and the tea is giving as good (or bad) as it got.

Thank you Ubacat for sending me this sample.
I like this. Nice blueberry – not artificial, not too sweet. The white base is present but not fighting with the berry. I drank this hot but I’m sure it would be really good iced. There is nothing wrong with this. It’s a really good blueberry white tea.
Thank you – I’ve never tried any of Teafrog teas – this was a nice introduction.

I’m not ordinarily a huge fan of white teas; I prefer heartier teas that can stand up to a good dose of milk and sugar. (Does that make me a philistine? If I’m wrong, I don’t wanna be right!) Ahem. Anyway, I had to order this in my sample pack because the name was so intriguing. I’m glad I did – it certainly has the delicacy of white tea but with a good blueberry flavour. In other words, it does what it says on the tin. Excellent choice for someone who tends to like white tea.
