This might have just become my favorite Della Terra black tea yet. Not that that’s really saying much, since I am not a huge fan of their black teas, but this one is quite fantastic.

The creaminess is absolutely lovely. And I love that the chocolate tastes like dark chocolate, and isn’t overly sweet. I seriously can’t get enough of mint teas, and this is a lovely addition to my collection, since I haven’t found a chocolate mint tea that I really like yet. It even held up to a second steep.

Yum.

sample sipdown! I wish this was tastier for me. So many great reviews and yet this is really just sort of a bleh, meh kinda…wasn’t enough to distract me from the hilarity or at least chuckles, to be found on the neighbours… heh

thanks kittenna

Easy sipdown! Thought I would pick this one today as it was enough for one flavourful cup. Thanks Incendiare!

This was a nice cup with vanilla and mint, but it wasn’t memorable, sad to say. I’d drink it again if I came across it, but I wouldn’t order it as there is better to be found.

I’m at 103! (Plus… my Bayswater teas which I need to sort/add).

Well my day has just kind of gone waayyy downhill since this afternoon. Having a lovely pot of this and watching some new shows. I like the flavors. It’s a simple tea but it’s creamy and has a nice, light mint flavor to it. Glad I got to enjoy this tonight.

Oh no :( Hope it’s something easily fixable!

Yeah, all is well now. :-)

This tea smells so good. I like the minty chocolate. The flavour is really good, creamy chocolate mint.

I’ve had other chocolate mint teas, but the vanilla is a great addition.

Sipdown! I gave some of my initial sample to a friend, so I only have the one steep left of this sample from Incendiare left. I was going to try something else, but I thought I haven’t got many samples from her left, and I haven’t had one in a while. So here it goes.

It is rare that I can drink a black tea without the need to add milk. I think the base is mild enough, and not too astringent. This one is one of them, though I think it might be a little better with, but it is perfectly fine without right now. It is a little minty, and a little vanilla, and the mint is nice and mellow…though it is making my mouth water a little.

I think I still prefer Santa’s Secret over this, and I hope that it is available again this year. If not, I have a bag of 52 Teas White Christmas to get through. I find them all about the same, though I still like SS best.

Hmm this one doesn’t have as much vanilla creaminess as anti v-day. It’s settled, for my peace of mind. I prefer the other but this tea is not exactly a hardship. :P

When I first opened the bag and smelled the tea, Wow! Strong chocolate and mint. This is another tea I love for the aroma, it’s so delicious. Also appealing is the dry tea: the chocolate chips, forest green mint leaves, and the little candy shamrocks. To be honest, I bought this tea because of the picture. I took a good gamble in the end! The aroma of the steeped tea is similar to that of the leaves. The liquor – dark reddish brown – oh my gosh it’s so good. The mint and vanilla wonderfully complements the chocolate, which is not (of course) artificial tasting. This chocolate-mint tea is yummy!

Thanks to jessiwrites for the sample of this! I finally got around to trying a cup, and it is scrumptious! It has similarities to Santa’s Secret (another mint black tea I adore), except this has dark chocolate flavors, and the mint doesn’t seem quite as icy. I’m also picking up lots of vanilla cream tones. Yum! Between Santa’s Secret and this one, I think I prefer the former, but that’s just my personal preference. In the ways of black mint teas, they are both fabulous.
