From DAVIDsTEA

Brew love

Sweet, spicy, refreshing…is there anything tastier than a good ginger beer? Since its introduction in 18th century Britain, this fizzy, golden drink has been a hit everywhere from the lunch counter to the cocktail bar. And with warming ginger and sweet apple, this tasty blend is our take on the classic. We love sipping it after a heavy meal, or to soothe a sore throat. Up for experimenting? Brew it strong and top up with sparkling water and a splash of vodka, for a twist on a Moscow Mule. Cheers!

Hello, ginger! I was excited to try this one, though I had reservations about this tasting too similar to Super Ginger. It’s still spicy, but a little sweeter, which is probably due to the apple. I liked this one, but I don’t know if it’s a must-keep for me. I usually only drink Super Ginger when I’m sick, and since this tastes very similar to it (at least to me), I cannot help but associate this with being sick. Which is unfortunate. >_>

YUM. As advertised, tastes like Ginger Beer. Way better than Super Ginger, no worry of your cup tasting of only peppercorns if it oversteeps!!

Unlike most people, I wasn’t disgusted by the idea of this tea. Apples, ginger and raisins in a herbal tea, why not. Finally, I don’t like it as a tea pop (a bit weird that DT is making people taste a new tea in tea pop) nor as a regular hot tea. Alright as a iced tea. The ginger is really strong and stings in the throat in the aftertaste. Decent but won’t try again.

Sipdown for the second time. This stuff is great hot or cold. It’s all good, yo. Someday, I’m going to have to pick up some club soda or the like and add some to a partial jug of Ginger Beer cold brew. That would be awesome. I just know it. Love ginger beer, the real stuff, and this just hits the spot.

Dry leaf: extremely ginger with an almost effervescent quality

Liqueur: golden yellow and clear with a very bright sweet ginger aroma

Flavour: very lively spicy ginger flavor with a sparkle that brings a carbonated character to the liquor – the raisins add both a sweetness and a body similar to its namesake
