From DAVIDsTEA

Make every day Earth Day

We were inspired by David Suzuki when we dreamed up this tea. It’s an organic blend of Japanese sencha with Canadian-sourced cranberries, blueberries and sea lettuce. A little bit sweet, a little bit fruity with an oceanic hint. Plus it’s entirely sourced from farms that meet the highest standards of sustainability. You might call it an homage to everyone’s favourite environmental icon.

Ingredients: Organic: Sencha green tea, cranberries, blueberries, caraway seed, mustard seed, sea lettuce. With natural flavouring*.

I enjoyed the balanced taste this blend offered. I was surprised I liked it as much as I did. I’ll have to get more of this if it’s a limited time offering.

The dry leaf smell of this tea is very strong but do not let it scare you because this tea is really good. Also, the thought of mustard seed in a tea seems odd but it’s not.
I really like this one. I don’t think it makes my top 20 favourites but I definitely think I will drink it every once and a while.
This tea tastes like green tea at first then you can taste the sweetness of the blueberries and cranberries and then it finishes with the sea lettuce as the final note. I find this tea to be a light taste and light liquor.

Weeeellllll…. This isn’t overly too bad. Although I’m glad I only had 1 sample of it. My first sip tasted somewhat spicy… I don’t know what it is – maybe the caraway seeds, or the mustard seeds? Hmm… At least I can say I’ve tried it. When I smell it in my mug I can slightly notice the blueberry but it’s very subtle, and so is the taste. Not sure what to think of this tea. I’ll finish my cup, though.

Actually starting to get used to it.

Hmm, what a unique taste! I have never tasted anything remotely similar to this. It has quite a nice taste, and the after taste is even better. It’s quite an interesting (for lack of better words) blend and it calm and mild and likely could blend in with whatever you’ve got going on. If you haven’t tried it, buy a sample it’s quite the neat little blend.

Nice and fruity with a hint of spiciness! Incredibly creamy because of the sea lettuce as well a very sweet taste because of the berries. The mustard seed and green tea are more discrete but are still present. I very much enjoyed this tea as I am not a huge fan of green tea. Very refreshing!

A very unique flavour. I was a bit thrown by the ingredient list, but it smelt good enough in store that I bought a few grams to try myself.
The blueberry is strong when you brew it, not much cranberry, and there’s a hint of something tangy, too. Maybe it’s my mind playing tricks on me, but I swear I can taste the mustard seed.
Overall I’m glad I tried it, but I won’t be refilling my bag when it’s empty.
