From Arbor Teas

This organic, Fair Trade Certified Jasmine Green Tea offers an intense jasmine fragrance. This is acquired by picking the jasmine flower late at night when the blossom is in full bloom. The flowers are layered upon the tea leaves to impart their fragrance. By morning, the jasmine fragrance has transferred to the tea leaves and the blossoms are then discarded. This process is carried out on multiple successive evenings to impart the superior flavor and aroma of this specially selected tea.

Sustainability is a cornerstone of Arbor Teas’ business philosophy. In addition to offering an exclusively organic selection of teas, they recently became the first tea company to offer their whole catalog in 100% backyard compostable packaging. They’ve also carbon-offset the entire supply chain of their products, from origin to the customer, making Arbor Teas the greenest option for Earth-conscious tea drinkers, and one of few tea companies recognized by Green America.

A very pleasing jasmine aroma and flavor. While it is not overly “floral” it does possess that certain jasmine sharpness that cuts through some of the sweeter notes nicely. The green tea is lightly vegetative and smooth.

A very good jasmine offering!

I’m off to write a more in-depth review for the Tea Review Blog.

Strange. Dry…this smells like grapes and Jasmine! At least it’s pleasant enough.

Post infusion it smells like, well, green tea and Jasmine.

Tastes like Jasmine with a hint of pepper. This is decent. I’m VERY happy this doesn’t leave a nasty aftertaste. YAY!

Iced the rest of the pot with a bit of agave. Definitely works better sweetened.

Having this with lunch. It’s a very pleasant green tea with a nice jasmine aroma. Some other jasmine green teas I have tried leave a copperish aftertaste, but this one does not. Quite nice.

I don’t usually like Jasmine tea but this is exceptionally different. I tend to find jasmine teas bitter and disgusting which is definitely not the case for this one. This tea was actually tasted like jasmine, was not bitter at all and was very enjoyable.
I didn’t put any sugar in this cup but think that it would be a nice additive to the second cup (just for fun).

I would whole heartedly suggest drink this tea while studying. It really does “zen” you out! ;)

Jasmine teas all taste the same to me and this is no different. Dark. Floral. Brisk. Nothing new. Nothing different. And not for me.

I love, love Jasmine Green Tea. It smells so fresh. It turns a pretty golden color when it is allowed to steep. I usually steep it 5 minutes. It doesn’t ever taste bitter like some green teas can. I always put a good tablespoon of honey in with my tea. I have it every morning for breakfast.
