34 Tasting Notes
This is heaven in a cup – it smells like cinnamon and tastes very similar – light, floral and a hint of fruity. Rose is my absolute favourite scent and I wish this were sold in perfume form. *Although I don’t love that David’s Tea is taking a turn into that market, it’s weird.
I brewed this hot and enjoyed every last sip. I will be stocking up on this blend, for sure!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Creamy, Floral, Rose, Sweet, Vanilla
This is one of my all-time favourite before bedtime teas. The flavour is outstanding – light, matches the scent of the dried tea (rare for DT, I know) and doesn’t leave an aftertaste. I was really surprised to read (after drinking my first cup blindly) that this blend contained my arch nemesis: hibiscus. It is light and barely noticeable, thankfully.
I serve mine before bed, err… in bed – hot and in my favourite glass mug. I’ve had it the past 3 nights in a row and have fallen asleep immediate afterwards – hooray!
I will definitely be buying a tin of this beauty!
Flavors: Berry, Blueberry, Hibiscus, Honey, Lemon, Spearmint, Strawberry
This tea is better served cold IMO although tonight I’m feeling like something warm and floral/fruity – so Kokomo does the trick.
I had a heavy Easter dinner and this is hitting the spot right now – it always reminds me of tropical-scented perfume… it’s got a very strong scent.
This tea was perfect – very creamy and smooth. I really needed the caffeine this afternoon. Trying to de-stash some makeup online – never knew how stressful that could be coordinating all of the sales :/
Anyhow – I’m going to try and enjoy the rest of this blend this week as my AM tea. Such a nice treat served hot with milk
Flavors: Bergamot, Creamy, Smooth
I like this tea for its smooth, robust flavour and spicy scent. It tastes sweet to me, and I often have it as my “I don’t want to eat before bed but need something” treat. Heavy cinnamon flavour – if you’re not a fan, I wouldn’t recommend.
I tried this tea initially in the summer – I think it was one of the DT tea-off teas (the other one won, I believe) I stocked-up the next day and made a special trip to my closest store when I realized I couldn’t purchase it online and it would never be sold in stores again (or so they say…)
Tonight I served it hot with milk – this would make an excellent tea latte.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Pear, Smooth, Sweet
This tea is everything I want in a white tea – a cute name, beautiful leaves and scent. A light, refreshing floral/fruity taste that lingers.
I believe I will be purchasing a tin of this and enjoying it deckside all summer long – iced.
Flavors: Berry, Blueberry, Floral, Honey, Strawberry, Sugar, Sweet
This tea was included as a sample packet in my most recent order from DAVIDsTEA. It is a smooth black tea with a sweet scent and a light taste.
I served it hot with some milk. I would absolutely purchase this as an everyday unflavoured caffeinated tea. Delicious!
I received this sample from 2 people whom I recently swapped with :) I have been hunting down a strong Chai tea that I sampled a few years ago at Teavana and after having my afternoon cuppa, I realize that this was it!!
I enjoyed this strong-aroma tea served hot with a splash of milk and agave syrup. It filled my car with cardamom, cloves and cinnamon so much that when I arrived at my destination, someone complimented me on my “spicy perfume” :) I have several cups of this left to enjoy. Will definitely be purchasing this come fall time!
Thanks again for the swaps.
Flavors: Cardamon, Cinnamon, Cloves, Spices, Spicy
This is a lovely everyday tea for my morning commute. I purchased the loose leaf tin at my grocery store and served the tea hot with a splash of milk.
After a 5 minute steep, this tea was very dark in colour and some particles had escaped my tea strainer (which is unusual). I enjoyed 2 cups nonetheless.
