From DAVIDsTEA

Discover its power

Chamomile may seem like an ordinary herb, but it is really very special. Did you know people have been drinking it since the ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks? And every kid has enjoyed a cup before bedtime. It’s been sipped for thousands of years for thousands of reasons. Probably the best reason is its aromatic, calming taste. Caffeine free. (MK Kosher)

Ingredients: Organic Egyptian chamomile.

Not good, not good, not good… I feel cold coming on! Must resist all this sickness around me!

This chamomile is wonderful and soothing… at least it makes me forget about that tickle in my throat for a little while.

Backlog from last night.
I love Egyptian chamomile. It’s so honey-sweet and soft. Makes me want to drink it all day long!! But… since I use it to help me sleep and I really do NOT want to become immune to that effect, I save it for those insomniatic nights (did I just invent a conjugation? heh!)
I wonder though, are all Egyptian chamys this tasty? or is it the organic aspect that brings this to such a stellar place…
Well, until I try another (organic) EC, I probably shouldn’t rate this one. I’ll hold off for now! as it stands, I’d probably leave it somewhere in the high 80s or low 90s

Not as aromatic as the previous chamomile this evening, but it is
Smooth and calming with a lovely after taste.

Backlog from 2 nights ago.
My tonsilitis is back. There was no hiding from it with these cold mornings in a bakery. I had this going to bed the other night and it definitely did its job. Put me RIGHT to sleep. I searched all my samples for it because I knew someone had sent it to me, and that someone was ashleyef. Thank you! I did however wake up the next morning at 3.30am for work and was eventually sent home at 10am due to my zombie like features, I caught the flu ontop of my tonsilitis. I slept all day as soon as I got home. Yesterday was a definite blur ha ha. I will rate when my taste is back.

Chamomile always falls into two categories for me. Either it’s overly flowery and just ick, or tasteless. This one? Tasteless.

oh nos!! well atleast now you know for sure!

Definitely! And I only bought 6g so it wasn’t a loss. I’d’ve paid three times as much for a cup in-store!

I’ve been drinking chamomile during my shifts for a few days in a row, bagged, and decided to switch it up today and go for loose leaf instead.
The flavour seems gentler than the chamomile I’d been drinking lately, which I actually prefer. It’s still floral, but mild, relaxing.

Also, It’s been fascinating watching the chamomile drop from the top, where it’s been floating, down to a pile at the bottom in my clear travel mug. This is definitely a tea to watch!

I love this simple yet refreshing tea!

I am a HUUUGE fan of Chamomile tea and I just love how simple, refreshing and flavourful this tea is! I could let it steep all day long in a large pot of water and enjoy all evening.

This tea I could easily guzzle. This one will be stocked regularly for me!

No matter what brand, loose or bagged (unlike every other tea in the world) this has the same taste no matter what. I’ve always enjoyed chamomile. It’s kinda one of those things you like or you don’t, there’s no in between. So I found it just like any other Chamomile… Nice, calming, smooth taste, great for when you want something mild and calm. And wow, do you ever get a lot. Usually when I get my 100g tins they (depending on the weight of the tea) get filled 1/2 to 2/3 full….For this, I got a full tin and a LARGE not the small DAVIDsTEA zipper bag of this still being 100g. So, it’s definately inexpensive and worth buying!

Not much to say. It’s a nice, sweet chamomile, for those who like that sort of thing.

Great added to a bath with some essential oils. Very relaxing soak.
