All proceeds from the sale of this tea will go to St. Jude’s so they can continue their amazing mission to help children and their families battle cancer.

This is a really smooth EG creme. It’s supposed to also taste like lavender, but there was almost no lavender in my sample, so I guess they’d have to amp up the amount in order for that to be discernible. But the bergamot and creme flavors are delicious and meld perfectly with the black tea. It tasted best warm with some milk. I’m sad I only had a small sample because this one is pretty great!

Thank you ashmanra via derk :)

Well, it is a nice tea for sure. A nice body from the base and strongly lavneder in taste. I admire lavender mostly for the aroma and that was very nice as well. I expected more creamy taste though, but it’s not a big complaint! That said; it is interesting I haven’t found it that creamy as derk did. I noticed way more lavender notes, those were nice.

Not sure as well about bergamot. Yes, it was somehow citrusy, but I expected bit more probably. Can’t tell much about the vanilla as I have paired it with organic chocolate cookies, so that “killed” other flavours a bit. I guess, I need to try it again (I got about 4 tea spoons, I have used two), and multiple steeping as well.

This is a nice Lavender Lady Grey Cream. The cream note seems to hang out on its own above the rest though, kind of like a light topping of marshmallow fluff. Definitely let Parker’s Blend cool for several minutes before sipping for the best flavor experience. Overall smooth and satisfying but the base tea, as usual in blends, leaves me wanting more. Edit: I take that back. Parker’s Blend’s base tea has enough life for two steeps and can be oversteeped into bitterness.

Thanks, ashmanra :)

I am excited to announce that I have a new padawan! That is what my family calls it when I meet someone who wants to get into tea so I shower them with tea and info. My padawan is a co-worker of my daughter’s and I think he is about to start college. I haven’t met him in person but we have texted and I have sent tea via my daughter.

He went to a local tea shop and bought orange spice, lapsang, and forest berry teas. I sent an assortment from my stash and he liked them all, even Bai Mu Dan which I thought might be too subtle after the flavored teas he started with, and he really enjoyed Premium Jasmine Dragon Pearls from Teavivre. I also sent Paris and unsmoked lapsang.

Last night I ordered the sampler from Cuppageek for him. You get six teas for $5 and I chose my six favorites in hopes they would appeal to him, too. I can’t wait for them to get here!

With that on my mind, I chose Parker’s Blend for breakfast today. I had transferred it to a tin since I have purchased rather a bit of it, and it smelled sooo good today when I popped that double lid open. I know the description says there is a touch of cream flavor, but really it was SUCH a creamy and fruity aroma that hit me that I just had to go “mmmmmmmm” right then and there. I still don’t understand how Nichole makes tea that steeps three times but she does. I steeped one teaspoon thrice and put it all together for a good sized eighteen ounce pot.

Check out the May ParTea on Cuppageek! I ordered the first two fruity blends and am super excited for the caffeine free version of Pina Colada. I have never had a Pina Colada but it sounds delicious!

I have had a few padawans in my time. None that actually made it to tea jedi though.

AJRimmer

Oooo thanks for the notice about the ParTea. I’ll have to put a little order together (:

Daylon R Thomas

My padawans have been dispersed in travel and then further distanced by order 66.

My gym trainer is my new one. Been giving him my jasmine greens and blacks that he’s loved. I’ve slowly introduced some of my other teas to my students through tea lessons to explore culturally diffusion.

Michelle and Daylon: Don’t you love it when someone really takes to tea? It is so exciting to walk through their discovery of all the wonder of the tea world.

AJRimmer: Glad to be of service! I am eager to try the new blends!

Evol Ving Ness

I love that you actively seek out converts, ashmanra. I also love your habitual tea parties. So lovely.

ashmanra

Evol Ving Ness: tea parties were put on hold for a whole year, but we are all vaccinated now and we started back! I have had tea outside with a neighbor or friend a few times before that, and I am so glad the weather here is mild enough to permit that most of the year!

I think I socialize with tea because…it is the only way I know how! I find it easier to say “Come for tea” than “Come over sometime” and my parents did not socialize so really tea was what got me started!

Wish you could come for tea sometime!
