Our Warm Cinnamon Bread pairs our malty Kenya Obsidian with a hot cinnamon flavor. The spiciness is more in flavor than actual heat and resembles a red hot candy. We added a very tiny amount of Taiwanese Lapsang Souchong to add depth of flavor, as this tea has a very slight smoky flavor. There is also a sugary bready flavor that lingers long after each sip. Adding sugar will sweeten the cinnamon and increase the cake flavor.
Ingredients: Kenyan Black Tea, Organic Cinnamon Chips, Taiwanese Lapsang Souchong, Safflower, Organic Pure Ground Vanilla Beans (No Fillers), Organic Natural Flavors (vegan)
Recommended Brew Time: 2 minutes 30 seconds
Recommended Amount: 1 level teaspoon of tea for 8oz of water
Recommended Temperature: 212 F (boiling)

The smell of it freaks me out because it smells more like cinnamon hearts than bread… so not quite what I was hoping for and I’m a bit scared to try it! I have it here at work though so maybe I will make it now.

yeah I find “warm cinnamon bread” to be a misleading name, because cinnamon buns/bread aren’t made with cinnamon flavoured candy!

yeah stacy made a comment in one of my notes on that.. i’m hoping to try adding a little vanilla to it and see what happens… will keep you posted.
