I’m late… I’m late…

I really am behind this week. My apologies to our followers. I went to a “Get Motivated” seminar this week, so hopefully some of what I heard will sink in. In the meantime, without further ado, and hopefully totally worth the delay, here’s our newest tea of the week!

I decided to try to create one of our very popular cheesecake blends with a GREEN tea this week. Our buttery sweet Chinese sencha seemed a good fit for a cheesecake tea, and wow did it prove out. This is light and delicious and decadent all at once. Enjoy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE cherry. Really like cherry green tea – but they don’t normally have enough cherry for my taste.
I’m actually surprised at how much I like this. Subtle green base, candy-ish cherry, and a little “tang” that might be a little cheesecake-esque. I don’t think this is everything that it promises, but it is tasty.

I have the opposite problem: most cherry-flavored teas taste like cloying cough syrup to me!

Eh. Mostly I’m getting cherry flavored, watery green tea. Not cough syrup cherry, but not real cherry. It’s like the slightly sour sweet cherry topping you get on cheesecake. Sadly, no cheesecake flavor that I can tell. That’s a real disappointment. The tea base itself is very blah. Doesn’t stand out very much.

i had a chance to try this tonight thanks to MissB and i am going to give it a doorknob rating; it’s there and there’s nothing wrong with it, but there’s nothing special about it and there are lots of others.

i will say though, as with cherry anything it could have been cough syrupy and it wasn’t.

i get no cheesecake.

it’s a tea.
