I don’t know if anyone has really noticed, but I have begun waiting at least three weeks after a tea has been released from 52Teas before trying it. Back when I was blending teas, I learned that when flavoring teas, the tea that I flavor today will taste different three weeks from today. The flavoring oils need time to absorb into the tea leaves and they need to mingle with the tea leaves and develop.
This is the only explanation I can come up with for the fact that the other reviews on this tea are stating that they can’t taste the cherry and cheesecake. Because I can taste them… and this is AWESOME. It tastes so good that I’m on my third cup right now.
The cherry is soft but authentic. It tastes like sweetened, glazed cherries but fortunately not like cherry cough drops. (Not that I dislike cherry cough drops, when I need a cough drop that’s the kind I reach for, but, I’d rather not have it in my tea). The cheesecake flavor is tangy and I can even taste the crust. It works. It all works so well together. YUM yum YUMMY!

What a great idea Liberteas, thank you!! I will do the same for SURE.
I had this one as a sample, so I thought it tasted amazing as well! It was def aged around 3 weeks so I bet this will work with my pumpkin cheesecake one too >_> Thank you for your wisdom!!
That is very interesting, I didn’t know flavoring could work like that! :)

Good to know about the flavorings. I’ll try my pumpkin cheesecake like this, too!
I haven’t had this in quite a while, I’ll have to give it another go and see if the flavors have developed.
