I’m in an almost- blind panic about a group presentation on the Merchant of Venice that I’m supposed to help give tomorrow.
Tulsi, come hither.
I love just breathing in the vapors from this tea as it steeps. It’s just lovely and earthy and deep. It brews a light brown color, similar to that of white tea. Organic India cuts the leaves very finely, so the bags release a lot of flavor. The longer you let it steep, the better.
I have no illusions that it’s going to solve all my problems or anything, but man, it does help me calm down drinking it. I can feel it warming my chest and belly as it goes down, and after it settles in my belly, I always, always, ALWAYS feel better. I know that by the time I finish this mug, I will be ready to get back to work on my presentation notes.
Thank God for holy basil.
