316 Tasting Notes
I was so excited to first try this tea because its colour changing and both of the colours are my fave. But was disappointed because it tasted so artificial… I liked it better with the lemon juice but still isn’t very great to me. High expectations let me down with this one. :(
Flavors: Artificial, Grapes
I wasn’t too excited to try this one, but it smelled sweet enough and not too spicy, so I went ahead and got 50g to try in different ways. First I tried it as a latte. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it since other people have said it reminds them of CFT – which I don’t like, but to me it didn’t taste like that. It’s a nice balance of sweet and spices. Not one I would stock up on though. Next I’ll have it just hot and see how that is.

Interesting! I actually haven’t heard the CFT comparison yet. I don’t know that I necessarily see it myself (I think this has WAY MORE ginger than cardamom), apart from them both being sweeter spiced teas. My boyfriend REALLY liked CFT though, so maybe I’ll have to get him to try it and see what he thinks.
This was simply disgusting. I went into this little cafe and they had this iced for the day, so I decided to try it. Bad choice. It was overly strong, and tasted like toothpaste. With the added weird ingredients like chickweed – whatever that is. I took a few sips and wasn’t enjoying it… Added more ice, and honey, and it didn’t make it any better. The friend buying offered to get me something else cause she could tell I didn’t like it, so I just left it on the table. I felt bad at first – but when they all (3 people I was with) tried it, they too all hated it. It makes me wonder if the people working there even liked it.
Flavors: Spearmint, Spices

Yesterday I figured I’d try this iced to go, since it’s being retired soon. I do recall trying this before, a couple years back and not liking it – but since then I’ve grown on lemon taste. I actually enjoyed it this time around, and am thinking I should buy some before it’s gone. It’s a nice lemony taste with floral tastes as well. It’s a nice light tea. It was quite good.
Flavors: Floral, Lemon Zest
Preparation
I’m not sure about this one… I’ve had it twice as an iced tea and there’s something different about it. I like that it’s not as tart as SRP is, but maybe it’s the rosemary that’s making it weird for me. I have yet to try this hot. When I drank it today I found it sort of tasted like strawberry yogourt…
Flavors: Strawberry, Yogurt
Preparation
When I smelled this in the store it smelled really good, but tasting it, this tea is quite tart… It needs agave just to make it enjoyable. I’m not a big fan of strong tartness like that, but Ive only tried it iced so far, maybe it would be different hot.
Flavors: Tart
Preparation
Surprisingly I only tried this for the first time last week – when on the way to NB, I found some DT sachets at a gas station! Lucky me! Anyway, I decided to try this one because I read the ingredients and it said there was no bergamot, which is what I hate in earl grey teas – so I thought why not? I might like it, and turns out it was not bad! No bergamot, which is great, and a nice hint of vanilla flavouring… It’s nice with some sugar for a morning tea. I suppose it would be good with a touch of milk too, which I have yet to try, but I do like this tea.
Flavors: Creamy, Earl Grey, Vanilla
Preparation
I thought I would like this one the best but surprisingly I didn’t. It’s definitely okay, I don’t dislike it, but something about it gives it a little bit of an aftertaste… The honeydew flavour is pretty prominent as well. I like it, but it’s not my favourite of the new matchas.
Flavors: Honeydew

I honestly didn’t enjoy this tea as much as I thought I would. I automatically thought it would be good because of the apricot but I just really didn’t like the aftertaste of it. I’m also not the biggest chai person as well… It was worth the try, though I gave it to a friend.
