This is very VERY nice!!! Very creamy and Strawberry without being tart or fake tasting! VERY nice! I agree with the other reviewers and their comments! A bit of fruit, a bit of wine, and lots of cream! Ahhhhhh!
I am officially intrigued! I was a bit concerned about the wine-y aspect before, but…

It is, however, sold out. I checked. Oh well, there are other fish in the sea. (Such as for example the tropical explosion which I’m missing way more than I thought I would. I wonder if I can defend placing an order for that at this point… I’ve been good at emptying tins and I’m getting through teh black samples relatively quickly.

Yes! Apart from my Kusmi blacks (4 red fruits, St Petersbourg, Caramel and a couple of samples) I don’t have anything substantial in black at the moment. It’s just not okay. I really prefer the blacks in many ways, but it’s SO hard to find the one where you think "This tea is IT! "
I’ve found a number of really yummy ones but they have almost always been samples from swaps so I couldn’t restock or they are no longer available at all (Tan Yang Te Ji from TeaSpring cries )

@Angrboda, I really wish I could say for sure, with the company I am working with, it could be a week, it could be two or three weeks. If you guys want to include some pouches of the Strawberry Zabaglione in your Inventory Reduction Sale order, I could hold your shipment if you like.

I would definitely like that, because I Want some more of the Tropical Explosion. That one completely ambushed me. :) And I would also like to try this one, but it seems silly to me to order one thing two times.
I also have a different wish to do with sending, that may or may not be relevant, because I’ll be going on holiday in August and I wouldn’t want it to arrive while I’m gone and can’t pick it up. Would that be okay?

Awesometastic customer service STRIKES AGAIN!
Since you mentioned being ambushed, I have to say, I was completely flabbergasted yesterday by the demand for our new Jasmine Grey. In our brick and mortar shop, we keep the tea in jars behind the counter for making beverages with. We had to refill the Jasmine Grey jar TWICE last night, which I can’t recall ever having a tea go that fast. Everyone really loved it. I kind of wish I had made a bigger batch.

I’m smelling the while CANDY Connection here and I must say I like it! Now…let’s see if I like the taste of the tea!
It’s candied=sugary/sweet and I can taste many of the tropical type fruit in there! YUM. I can also taste the citrus notes and the berry-like or currant flavors. This is pretty good!
A lovely flavored white tea! I would certainly drink again and so happy I WON in the trivia contest! WOOT!!!
The first thing I could smell with the dry leaves was a sugary type smell. Once infusing began I could smell the Genmaicha and after the infusion was complete there was a funky smell – almost like sour??? What the!?
Taste-wise I could taste the Genmaicha first then the peppercorns, then the fruit and then the peppercorns again.
“E” for Effort on this one. It’s not my fave but it’s not bad either. My rating may go up when I try it again but for now I’ll go low to mid 70s…that sour-type smell is freaking me out…thank the tea gods it doesn’t taste that way! LOL

I’m thinking this would be better cold…still can’t get past the smell…almost like a sour milk type smell…eeeeeeek
I didn’t get that at all. It was good cooled (just left in my cup not refrigerated or anything), there was a bit of astringency in the last sip- just enough to make the back half of my tongue curl up at the sides just a bit. But was definitely not anywhere near a bad thing.
Well, since I am trapped in the office and can’t get out (literally) I will sip on this and think of better things.
The scent of this is pure beauty – totally makes me think of a Tropical Island Getaway!
I can see chunks of the ingredients mixed in with the green rooibos and it is delightful!
It’s naturally sweet and sugary even with floral and fruity tastes partnering thru-out. It’s calming yet fun and smooth yet juicy. This is just what I needed!
2nd infusion…
I totally agree with LiberTEAS that this tastes completely different on the 2nd Infusion!
It’s still good, however.
It smells like a gentle earl grey and cream.
The taste is still very smooth with a bit of sugary-ness to it and orange, floral, and cocoa hints hiding underneath.
This is a great infusion. Still a lovely tea overall…a nice treat!
Have I mentioned that LiberTEAS spoils me!? :P
This smells AWESOME! It’s pure chocolate and Earl Grey! WOW! Just what I had HOPED it would smell like! Or…in my case…orange chocolate/Earl Grey-ish even! YAY!
I’m just finishing up the infusion…
I’m told I need to try 2 infusions with this so I will – here’s what I found with the first one…
The aroma changes completely after infusion is complete. It’s still pleasant but not as awesome…I guess you could say. I can’t pick out each flavor like before. This doesn’t bother me too much because this often happens with flavored teas – as you know.
It’s infuses very dark brown and has a bit of cloudiness to it…I am assuming from the sugary-chocolate bits.
The taste is different but very good. I would say I can taste the cocoa type taste first then it quickly changes into a chocolate…so almost first being hot cocoa taste but then more of a chocolate bar taste. From there you can taste the black tea but then quickly changes into more of a bergamot and chocolate type taste. It ends more of a chocolaty-black tea flavored taste. Thru-out the entire sip it’s very smooth and the flavor changes intrigue me.
This is the first cup in a long time I have had to think about it with each sip (more than just a few sips, that is)
This one kept my attention going strong the entire time.
I continue to type and think as I write this…
As it cools at room temp for a few mins I can taste a chocolate-woodsy-black tea type taste for the after taste more. This certainly isn’t a bad thing (in my book).
Again, very smooth and creamy thru-out the cup!
This tea is much like an adventure! I like it!
