6768 Tasting Notes
WOW!!!! I’m the first to log? Well, I won’t be as I have LOTS of this and am going to share!!!! :)
Dark Roast is RIGHT! Holy Yerba Mate! This is DARK!!!!
Kind of smells like Coffee Beans a little. It’s smoother than I expected and resembles a coffee-like taste, I suppose. This isn’t too bad!
OH! Well…this one just looks, smells, and sounds special! The aroma is NOT loud and the leaves are different from most greens I have seen. This ‘brews up’ darker than most greens I have seen too! As for the taste it’s great! It’s a very sweet green! Not grassy or bitter at all! Very flavorful…incredibly sweet for a green, actually! I really like this!
I’m starting my day with this one! And if my day is going to be anything like this tea…it’s going to be a good one!!!
I had a HUGE Pecan smack-dab in the middle of my strainer to steep along with one lonely white chocolate chip. It does smell lovely! Mostly like Pecan with a little sweetness.
Altho I couldn’t individually taste the white chocolate chip in the tea – I’m thinking it contributed to the smoothness of the overall taste as well as tone down the natural bitterness of the Pecan.
Regardless…this is tasty…yummy…a treat! Enjoyable!
This is my very first tea from Tea Valley and I am very excited! :)
This smells a little sweet and a little smoky and woodsy.
It’s a very nice light brownish-yellow.
The taste is very nice, too! A sweet-woodsy type flavor. It has a mysterious malty-ness to it even.
As it cools for a minute or two…it seems to get sweeter and even BETTER than it was before…it seems with each sip it gets better and better.
This is a great Oolong!
Thought I would give this one a whirl today…no real reason…didn’t really NEED a Chill Pill…but here-goes!
There are LOTS of ingredients in this blend and some of them make me nervous…ie…Chamomile and Hibiscus.
Dry Blend Scent is mostly Orange but I can pick up on the fruit and floral tones.
Post Infusion Scent is mostly chamomile and other florals and hibiscus…meh. OH! And Lemon grass!
Color is VERY pale…next to clear.
I can taste mostly chamomile, orange, and lemon grass with a little hibiscus…thankfully – not much. This isn’t bad but it wouldn’t be something I would buy for myself and it isn’t very memorable – at least to me.
I have been holding off on this one for a while only because of the INTENSE Ginger LiberTEAs mentioned in her review. I thought I would be daring today…so…here goes! (It was for this reason I under-infused on purpose!)
Okay…so…
I was ass+u+me(ing) this was going to be like the gingery-peppery type ginger. But…it IS ginger but it’s not peppery ginger…if that makes sense. The label does say SMOOTH yet strong Ginger…and you know what…this is perfectly correct! For this reason I am giving it extra points! I’m also giving it extra points because it IS tasty…MUCH tastier than I expected! I was getting a little hungry…let’s see if this tames my stomach for a little bit! LOL
WOW! I am VERY impressed with this one…considering I am not usually drawn to Ginger-type flavored teas/tisanes. NICE
Thanks LiberTEAS!!!
This smells much like my first Lychee Experience…fruity sweet but there was also a ‘paint thinner’ type smell to it…seriously…but luckily the fruity sweet outweighs the paint thinner in this case! It then smells almost like wine after dissolving. A very nice fruity sweet wine like aroma!
It’s sweet and fruity to taste but also matcha/green tea true as well! This is pretty good!
So grateful I was able to try it! Thanks again, LiberTEAS!!!
hmmm, coffee
my Mom got some in a sampler. I should have snuck one from her, as I am interested to see what it would be like
