I’m starting my day with this one! And if my day is going to be anything like this tea…it’s going to be a good one!!!

I had a HUGE Pecan smack-dab in the middle of my strainer to steep along with one lonely white chocolate chip. It does smell lovely! Mostly like Pecan with a little sweetness.

Altho I couldn’t individually taste the white chocolate chip in the tea – I’m thinking it contributed to the smoothness of the overall taste as well as tone down the natural bitterness of the Pecan.

Regardless…this is tasty…yummy…a treat! Enjoyable!

Is this real “pecan-y” tasting? I’m looking for one that is loud with the pecan flavor! hehe

TeaEqualsBliss

It’s pretty pecan minus the bitterness…pretty true to pecan tho, yes!

TeaEqualsBliss

I suppose it would get bitter if over infused, however…

I like to imagine that this would taste like butter pecan ice cream. Does it?

TeaEqualsBliss

I don’t think it was THAT creamy to be quite like an “ice cream” comparison…hope that helps.

Yum! This tea smells delicious!

The black tea base is smooth. I think that the nutty flavors lend a certain richness that plays off well with the black tea – giving it a very rich and almost creamy flavor to it. (I am sure that the creaminess is also due in part to the white chocolate).

The cup is sweet, nutty and really very good. Just what I would have expected from a tea called “Southern Pecan.”
