672 Tasting Notes
Just as David’s claims, this is a very smooth tea, with a nice balance between the lemon and black tea flavors. But honestly — and I hope I’m not violating the sacred code of tea drinkers by saying this — I didn’t think it was that much better than a grocery store lemon tea, such as Bigelow’s Lemon Lift. The La La Lemon is slightly more balanced, (and the aroma is heavenly) but to me there’s not enough difference to justify the higher price.
Preparation
This is a delicious tea, and very appropriately named: there are strong notes of coconut and a sort of fermented vanilla flavor. The aroma is also wonderful. But I do feel that you have to double up on David’s recommended serving (1.5 tsp per cup) if you want the full coconut experience. A touch of raw sugar also helps to enhance the flavor.
