I infused this into a buttercream for the top of cinnamon-orange cupcakes. How fabulous! It’s also good to drink =P

OK… that sounds incredible. Cinnamon-orange cupcakes with a caramel vanilla chai frosting. I WANT!

Knocking the rating down a touch. I’m not nearly as fond of this late-autumn harvest. It’s still good but has more of the somewhat odd buckwheat flavor and less of the chocolate quality that made this tea so craveable for me.

Autumn Hearth

I thought it tasted less chocolatey as well :( I bought an oz to share with friends and impress them and it definitely fell short of the first sample. Buckwheat is a pretty apt description.

i’m the first reviewer, whoop de dee~

this tea is finnicky (which i understand is a common trait in dancong). out of all my infusions i had one (which i believe was the second one, not counting the rinse) that was not bitter at all and tasted mind-blowingly delicious, like toasty oranges. i have to be more careful with this tea but it’s ridiculously good.

I got this and hot lips while in Canada. To me this is sooo much better. it’s got a nice, earth base – but isn’t nearly as fishy as say, cofee pu’erh – and the cloves and orange add to the overall warming effect. thumbs up from me.

mmm, love this! I knew I had to try it as soon as I read the description. The flavors blend so nicely. Roses and coconut and licorice, who knew? and the chili thread are bringing the slightest warmth to my cheeks. This could be a nighttime tea for me.

this was definitely the biggest surprise from my advent calendar adventure (and am i ever late on writing this review haha)
chocolate is not really my thing, or so i thought. this tea changed my mind. it is yummy and smells like raspberries. raspberries are the best thing ever, the end.
i want to brew this in my fake-gaiwan and pretend it is like brewing it in a gourd. i’ll report back with my findings.

also, this was my Mug o’ Tea when I had to give a poetry reading that my english teacher somehow suckered me into. It’s delicious AND soothing. this one holds a good place in my heart.
