9 Tasting Notes
One of my favorite teas from Teavana. It’s yummy smelling and tasting. A little bit of sugar is great but vanilla creamer is also great. So many ways to prepare. I’ve been drinking this tea for a good while now and had not noticed the cinnamon notes in the tea. I guess I just accepted the almond and moved on.
The second brew, though a little weaker is still pretty good.
I put in a little more than one teaspoon per water, just for that second brew.
Preparation
2 teaspoons of this plus 1 teaspoon of pear luna and body +mind blend with a little bit of sugar!
Very good way to use these teas— don’t think I’ll buy any of them again, but blended they are very nice. The Jasmine is no longer overwhelmingly strong and the pear luna seems to have a better flavor when blended!
Preparation
I wanted a tea that I could drink at night to unwind and fall asleep after drinking. The girl at the store swore by this one, but I’m not digging it. It’s a strong flavor, but it doesn’t seem to be pear flavored. It smells great, but it doesn’t taste that way. I mixed it with Body + Mind and it’s drinkable, just not something I will be buy again.
Preparation
At first taste, we thought it was dirty dishwater. It is a very dark color and does appear to have some chocolate in it, but the chocolate flavor is not very strong. The other tastes seem to overpower it.
Second taste of it (after a 24 hour break from this tea!) we made another pot. I tried sugar and some french vanilla creamer and it’s actually very good. Similiar to the idea of a chai latte. Just, not quite. I’m a little ambivalent, but no longer think it’s dirty dishwater!
