I used a solid tablespoon of tea, and I feel like this is very weak in flavor. I didn’t want to over steep since the blend contains black tea, but maybe I need to do it longer because I find this tea incredibly underwhelming.

When I smelled it at Teavana it had these magical chocolate and caramel notes to it that once brewed seem to come through on the nose, but lack in the taste.

It’s overall not something that I would purchase again. For Teavana mates the Samurai Chai and Rasperbby Riot are MUCH better.

It’s not my favorite. It isn’t particularly interesting, and the flavor is (thankfully) quite mild. I drink it for the potential benefits, not the taste.

This is so far my preferred jasmine tea variety. I do make sure to steep it quick or I find the bitterness goes up sharply. It has just the right mix of tea to the floral of the jasmine for me to enjoy both.

drank Jasmine Oolong by Teavana

I find this tea to be overly perfumy and a very bitter oolong. I dislike this one so much that those two things can sum it up.

This is one of my favorite daily drinkers, as I like to call them. The most predominate flavor is pineapple, and I honestly don’t get much ginger out of this at all. (Then again, I might have burnt off all the taste buds I have with all the crystallized ginger I eat on a regular basis.) It’s a perfect tea for a morning pick-me-up and that is why I drink it so frequently.

I found this to be mild, which sometimes is nice. It is especially pleasant in that it isn’t bitter at all and the blueberry flavor was really all I got out of it. However, if you are expecting a fruity kick as you would get out of the other Superfruit teas from The Republic of Tea, you will be underwhelmed.

I don’t regard myself to be a fine tea connoisseur in any way. I’ll drink anything once, and if it is sweet (I mean Southern sweet) chances are I’ll drink it more than once.

That being said, I can taste the difference between “cheap” and “expensive” teas, and tea made in a paper cup versus in glass/ceramic/whatnot. I frequently try different brands of tea and my tastes do change over time.

I’m also currently pregnant, and if there is anything pregnant women are notorious for it is having bizarre tastes, though really the only change I’ve noticed is that all bleu cheese tastes sour to me. (^_^;;)

I do try all tea unsweetened first, but I am not afraid of sweeteners. Most of the time I use agave nectar, but will use honey (raw or processed), sugar, xylitol, stevia, or most anything relatively natural that I can get my hands on.
