37 Tasting Notes
One of my long-awaited mini-tins!
I tried this one first because I know it’s my friend Joyce’s favorite. Or at least it seems to be. I brought it in to work to share with my co-workers. _
I wasn’t sure how much to add or how long to steep since there wasn’t any instructions on the mini-tins. I figured it was the standard 1tsp, 3-4 min of blacks. Wound up steeping a bit longer because it was a busy day! (Also got a few resteeps out of it. Yay!)
The flavor is a nice bergamont-yness with a hint of spice and citrus notes. It was just as good after it’d cooled off as it was hot.
Well I tried a tiny bit of this in the bottom of my cup before adding anything… and the face I made is akin to the one I make when I drink V8. Not good.
But adding my usual milk + sugar definitely improved the taste for me. It’s got nice caramel overtones with a slight salty hint at the end, despite the sugar I added. An affordable alternative to my Urban Tea Merchant Caramel.

Finally got moved into my new place and – awesomely – my new roommate LOVES tea! So I get to sample from his collection for the next little while!
This one is quite nice and a definite reminder why Earl Grey is one of my favorite teas. The fruitiness is quite nice.
