I guess if they said ‘prunes" nobody would want to try this tea as much? prunes are dried plumbs, so they are not lying I guess. The aroma of the dried leaves does yell “Prunes!” more than “pears!” It has a Ceylon base. Kinda boring, not too exciting, but I wouldn’t say it should be ignored. I’m thinking this tea is better suited to be enjoyed during a meal? Maybe something spicy or rich. It would compliment each other nicely.
I don’t hate this tea, but it has not blown me away as maybe it should have.

I would like to add that as the rea cooled the pear flavor came out more…I’m liking this better now. Ill try it iced next time!
