So I haven’t been on for a bit as stuff has been pretty crazy at home. My birthday was Tuesday and as a birthday gift my mother kicked me out, called the cops on my brother, and trashed my sister’s bedroom. I also had a midterm that day. So yeah, not the best week so far. Unfortunately, none of this craziness is new to my siblings and I as it has been happening for our entire lives (perks of living with someone who refuses to accept they suffer from mental health issues).
Anyways, I am staying with my sister waiting for this to blow over while my tea stash is trapped in my home with my mom. I did hit up a DAVIDs though to get a Nordic mug for brewing (the purple with the golden elephants), the ice cream cake cupcake pack, the jolly jellybean cupcake pack, and a few other samples. This is one of those samples.
It’s interesting they call this a black tea as there was maybe 6 little leaves in my filter. Predominantly this is nuts and fruit. As a consequence of that, though it does taste like pistachio, it also has an off-sweetness to it that makes it rather weird. I wish I took notes as I sort of absentmindedly sipped on this this morning while making breakfast and doing some things around the house. That plus steepster wasn’t working before which made it difficult to record my thoughts as I drank (I should have jotted down notes, Roswell Strange style lol)

Thank you tea twin! As per usual, this will eventually blow over when my mom decides she is don’t fighting and my siblings and I are forced to just forgive and forget. Then I just need to survive the next semester and a half until school is done and I hopefully get a job. Once I have a stable income, I can move out on my own.
