13 Tasting Notes
Very nice tasting tea. It has a wonderful aroma and the pink steeping colour of the tea is really pretty. The nut flavour isn’t too overpowering (even if the tea is a nut infused one) and the apple hints is a welcome addition to balance the nut to other spice ratio. Tastes wonderful as a hot drink and as an iced drink.
Flavors: Almond, Apple, Berry, Caramel, Cinnamon, Creamy, Nuts, Spicy, Sweet, Vanilla
Preparation
First things first, it’s really pretty when it steeps and it tastes good. A great combination. The little bits of glitter that float in the tea are really aesthetically pleasing. The tea itself it very complex: it has cinnamon, vanilla, cloves, and underlying citrus flavour. The vanilla hint really completes this tea and makes it a really enjoyable tea on a cold dreary day.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Citrus, Clove, Nutty, Spicy, Sugar, Vanilla
Preparation
It’s a nice nutty – I taste more of almond like flavour but you do get a hint of walnut. It’s not too sweet and not too bitter. The fruit flavours are really subtle and sometimes can be steeped right out of the tea if oversteeped, but when they are present they have a nice underlying taste to it. Not very good as a cold drink, I found.
Flavors: Almond, Coconut, Creamy, Fruity, Melon, Pineapple, Sweet, Vanilla, Walnut
Preparation
It has a strong chocolate taste, with only hints of peppermint and other tastes. It is probably one of the better chocolate teas I have tried. Nice sweet taste.
Flavors: Artificial, Bitter, Chocolate, Creamy, Dark Chocolate, Peppercorn, Peppermint, Spices
Preparation
My go to tea when I feel sick – it has a nice peppermint and ginger taste. I generally don’t enjoy chamomile teas, but this one definitely has a nice calm and subtle taste.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Ginger, Lemongrass, Peppermint
Preparation
As a hot drink, very good. Very fruity and nice aftertaste too. As a cold drink, even better. It really brings out the melon and fruiter aspects of the tea when iced. Really nice summer tea.
Flavors: Apple, Cantaloupe, Fruity, Honeydew, Melon
Preparation
The Black tea flavour really takes over this tea and I barely get a taste of any raspberry or coconut. In fact, I get a burnt like taste everytime I have steeped this and I have tried steeping it for less/more time. I, for one, do not enjoy the burnt coconut taste and its really hard to mask that even with an addition of milk and other additional sweeteners. I can’t say I would reorder this.
Flavors: Bitter, Burnt, Coconut, Perfume
Preparation
The hibiscus is definitely prominent in this tea, but the fruityness of the flavours come through quite nice with a little hint of ginger flavour. It can be a bit tart in some steepings and a strong cinnamon flavour can take over, but overall it is enjoyable. I don’t recommend it cold as the hibiscus flavour really takes over then.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Floral, Fruity, Ginger, Sour
