I picked up some of this when it was on sale recently, actually, it may still be on sale. I drink Pineapple Kona Pop contantly, but I always avoided this one because the price annoyed me. However, at 30% off, I will indulge.
I sweetened (which was a mistaked) this was good, but it did not need the sweetener I gave it. The dominant flavour is sweet, ripe, blueberry. It is that oversweet that blueberries get when they are super ripe. Not bad, but I think it needs the pineapple to balance this out. And this blend brings the pineapple, for every sweet hit of blueberry, there is a super tart pineapple note balancing it out. This is pineapple the way I like pineapple super tart, super refreshing and just what I was looking for!
Found this back when I was organizing and labelling the tea tins today. I had forgotten we owned this! It is sweet, light, and wonderfully comforting! The coconut lends a lot of sweetness to it and the tea base is nice and light. I am so glad I found it back and I must aim not to lose it again!
This was perfect this morning. Just as wonderful as I remember it being! I am not crazy about Lime Gelato iced, but hot, it is amazing. Lime, lime and more lime. This is truly a spring/summer tea for me and, with it still hovering close to -30 C in the mornings, I need all the spring feelings I can get!
I love this tea. It always brews right. Juicy, coconutty, and full of mulberry flavour. Though it is a white, I don’t get a lot of white tea flavour off of it and, in this case, I am actually okay with that. I think I love the mulberry and the coconut enough to make up for the lack of white tea base flavour.
Cold steeped this overnight in my iced tea pitcher. Even I can admit, it is a little ridiculous how much I am enjoying this iced tea pitcher. Provided I remember to fill it in the evenings, I always have iced tea ready and waiting for me!
I was really looking forward to this one, I tend to love berry teas and it had some pretty decent reviews. For me, I found that the blackberry was really nice, but the spearmint really did come out in the end note. For me, that is not a deal breaker, I quite like spearmint. However, anyone who is not a fan, might want to be careful with this tea. I am going to have to give it a try hot and see what happens with the mint.
For me, it is a fairly good iced tea, not one I would necessarily rebuy when I am done this bag, but a solid tea none-the-less.
Flavors: Berries
I can not believe how buttery this tea is! I get the green base, but there is such a nice vanilla and creamy flavour on top of it. I only ordered a sample of this last time, but I think I tossed some into my Butiki order yesterday, at least I hope I did! I would like to play with this a little more and see what flavours I can tease out a bit more. I never sweeten my greens, but I think this one might actually benefit from just a bit of sugar. I enjoyed this tea and I look forward to seeing what playing around with it will do for me.
Flavors: Cream, Vanilla
How did I forget how wonderful this tea is?? I have just been too caught up in my cold brewing adventures, and not paying my beloved dessert teas close to enough attention. This so perfectly balances the tartness of the raspberry with the sweetness of the chocolate. I adore how light the base is. I find a lot of the times, black teas can get a little malty if the wrong base it used, but this is a nice, super light base. Overall, such a fantastic tea!
Having tragically lost the sample of Maple Pecan Oolong I had marked to brew up this morning, I decided on a sure winner. I love the chocolate and orange notes in this tea, combined with its malty depth. It is a definite chocolate orange, but not an artificial orange. It gets the citrus tang perfectly. With just a bit of sugar, this tea is a killer dessert tea!
