It is 96 F here. Feels like 111 F. My intent was to ice this, but it smelled so good it never made it from the den to the ice dispenser. Crazy I know. More insanity – the sample was open, folded closed with a paper clip, but 3 years old! It showed, though not as badly as I expected. Peach was just as I remembered – pleasant and kind of light. I detected no jasmine but my only other note, while this was new, said the same. Strangely, because of the age of the sample I could taste the green tea. No bitterness, no astringency. Under the worst conditions this was still a tasty cup that disappeared to quickly.

Wow +35C that’s definitely hot! We have had a few of those days up here luckily we have air conditioning. Definitely a good time for cold tea!
We’re at heat index 112F today (40C). Thank goodness a thunderstorm just blew in to give some relief!
Wish I could tell you we’re sending you some precipitation from the west. There were clouds in the sky on the way to church this morning…and exactly three sprinkles before clearing up and heating back up to upper 90’s. C’mon, October!
So you’re the culprit! (kidding) We got a thorough drowning last night into this morning. Lots of people without power. Church attendance was way down due to weather. Temps are in the low to mid 80’s now – feels like 92 but we’ll take it. The however is I now have a brown stain on my living room ceiling. The 4 year old porch addition is leaking around the dormers. Searching for a trustworthy roofer in our area. Don’t no anyone but I know who does.

We almost reach at 37C, it’s too hot and a cup of iced tea is definitely the best!
Tea can solve pretty much anything.
