Well, I was half asleep when I decided to make this and let it sit overnight in the fridge, so I’m not surprised that this isn’t the tea I thought it was! (thought I grabbed North Star) Ooops! BUT! I’m really glad I made this tea because it totally blew me away. Heavy on the coconut and rooibos with bursts of fruit and spices. Fabulous cold, but I think it would have been better hot.

Flavors: Coconut, Fruit Punch, Fruity, Nutty, Rooibos, Spices, Sweet

Preparation
Boiling 8 min or more 5 tsp 32 OZ / 946 ML

One of my favorites I discovered last year and finally got a tin full at Christmas. A family favorite: very sweet on its own (pineapple is probably the culprit) perfect for iced tea. Lots of cherry and tangy hibiscus without being overwhelming. I wish there was more fig hanging around, but overall, fab!
3 pot sized scoops for 2 quarts of water, 30 min at 212

Flavors: Cherry, Fig, Fruity, Hibiscus, Pineapple, Sweet, Tangy

Preparation
Boiling 8 min or more 18 tsp 64 OZ / 1892 ML

My first time trying any type of Kuding. It was light and herbal, vegetal with a slippery feel. Not as pungent as I expected, but that may be the amount of leaf I used. Brewed western style with half of the sample packet, below boiling for… 4? minutes. I wandered off and forgot about it. It went well with my artichoke rice bowl for breakfast. Not sure how I feel about it in general.

Flavors: Brisk, Green, Herbs, Vegetal

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 4 min, 15 sec 1 tsp 10 OZ / 295 ML

Decaf is always kind of blah, but this one was extra blah. Nothing special, just sad tea dust taste. I’ve got 2 more teabags of this, so I’ll try making it extra concentrated next time.

Flavors: Dust, Paper

Preparation
Boiling 5 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 10 OZ / 295 ML

Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate it. I made a total impulse purchase with this tea since I loved year of the ox and wish I had more (Adagio’s limited edition teas are like that!) and I would up having a pleasant mug of tea. The chocolate flavoring Adagio uses isn’t my favorite, but overall, this tea leans towards orange and oolong, so it doesn’t matter to me that much. Not my favorite, but a good fun tea to have for occasions where I want something a little different.

Flavors: Chocolate, Mineral, Orange, Orange Zest, Wood

Preparation
Boiling 4 min, 30 sec 2 tsp 10 OZ / 295 ML

Sipdown! This came in Teaandmeblog’s advent calendar this past year and I greatly enjoyed it. Rooibos heavy with fruity mulled spices, this is perfect for a cold January afternoon while the sun is shining. Steeped 7 minutes and added 3 sugar cubes.

Flavors: Cinnamon, Fruity, Red Wine, Rooibos, Spices

Preparation
Boiling 7 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 24 OZ / 709 ML

I found a whole bag of these teabags while doing my yearly tea reorganization in the pantry. Are these even available anymore? They taste good, but not as strong as the other Stash Earl Grey versions I’ve tried… Probably because green tea is lighter in depth. Overall it is a good tea, but not my favorite.

Flavors: Bergamot, Brisk, Tea

Preparation
Boiling 4 min, 15 sec 1 tsp 10 OZ / 295 ML

A lighter flavor than the regular throat coat, this is great for those days when your throat is a little dry and have some nasal drip bothering you. Not as potent as the regular flavor, but it also tastes better.

Flavors: Fennel, Fennel Seed, Floral, Lemon, Licorice, Licorice Root, Medicinal

Preparation
Boiling 8 min or more 1 tsp 10 OZ / 295 ML

One of my favorites before bed. Not as robust as the regular Earl Grey, so i tend to steep it a little longer and hotter.

Flavors: Bergamot

Preparation
Boiling 4 min, 45 sec 1 tsp 10 OZ / 295 ML

I didn’t like this one too much for the same reason, so I started steeping with two teabags in 6 ounces of water and it’s perfect.

Shae

Sorry, that’s meant to be 8, not 6 ounces.
