199 Tasting Notes
I’m okay with the flavor, but too much powder or too hot water will make this extremely bitter and taste like pith. My only negative here is that there is sugar already in this mix and I don’t know how much.. The site lists “granulated sugar” in the ingredient list before “matcha” – at least in the US, the ingredients that are listed first are more abundant in the product than those listed later. I don’t want to think this is all sugar.
Oh, and definitely don’t use the full recommended amount of matcha – that’s a recipe for bitter tea.

I’ve never had GFZ since I’m still learning all about the different puerhs.. Got this from the white2tea box this month. I don’t know how to describe this.. My first thought was that it tastes “clean.” I didn’t find any bitterness or astringency and it just makes me feel so good. :P It’s pleasant – that would be the best way to put this. I could definitely drink a gallon of this tea :)
Two five second rinses, then steeped for 10/15/20/25/30/45..

I’m not really sure what a magnolia tastes like.. I did enjoy this tea, however. I’m not really sure I could identify a magnolia flavor – it just tasted floral with a slight sweetness. To me, I would have guessed rose if you asked me what flavor it was. It’s definitely a good experience though :)
Thanks, Stephanie!

Finally! A grape tea that tastes like grape!
Seriously, that could be the whole note.
Anyway, this is an amazing tea and I have yet to be disappointed with Naivetea! I can’t wait for the next one. The taste is soft concord grapes with a hint of natural sweetness on top of a nice oolong base.

The first steep of this tea is amazingly clear – it didn’t look like there was any color at all! I went to taste it and you could smell the vegetal notes, which come through quite strong even for such a light tea. I really liked this tea, though didn’t find it that much different from a green tea.

Finally getting around to the 15 or so 2015 first flushes that I have from Teabox :P I enjoyed this one, but it wasn’t overwhelmingly good. I followed the steeping instructions, but I think that with a five minute steep, it was slightly oversteeped and led to some bitterness in the taste. A nice orange color for the resulting brew and tasted more of muscatel than the “orchid and berry” that was promised. There’s a few floral notes, but they’re hidden behind the raisin flavor/smell of the tea.

I went through 19 Teabox teas and forgot to write reviews right after so now I’m completely lost to which ones were good and which ones were bad. If you got a mixture of green and black darjeelings, there is one green darjeeling that made me question what I had been drinking for awhile because it was so smooth that every note slid across my tongue with no bumps.
Thanks, TeaNTees!
So, peach isn’t my number one favorite flavor, though I do enjoy the taste occasionally. This tea’s scent is super powerful! The taste is nice and light, giving a white peach and floral flavor that’s nice to drink and not overpowering. Not an everyday tea for me, but still enjoyable.
Flavors: Floral, Peach
I need to try this sometime… yuzu is quite popular in Japan and I’d like to see how it works with a tea.
