Teeny Tiny Traveling Tea Box
Mmmm a lovely roasted oolong to start off my morning! I haven’t had an oolong like this in a while :)
Nice tightly rolled leaves that expand like lovely, pale/light yellowy/green liquor after the first steeping.
Just a really great tea!
Teeny Tiny Tea Box round 2
Sampling this because I smelled all the teas in this box (which is a LOT of tea) and this is one that looked like it would soothe my tummy!
A pretty decent chamomile blend. A bit too heavy on the chamomile, not enough with the peppermint.
It makes a nice bedtime tea!
My Just Organic Teas Kickstarter arrived in the mail!
Well, it arrived in the mail about a week ago, but I got it sent to my aunt’s house because I’m moving this weekend.
This smells like a lovely spiced apple cider! Just all the warmth and ALL THE FALL. THE BEST SEASON OF THE YEAR. I was definitely expecting a brighter, rooibos/blueberry tea, rather than the cinnamonny tea that I got, but hey, it’s tea and tea is lovely :)
Definitely a dark red cuppa with the hibiscus. I could have done with a bit less hibiscus, but I’m sure a bit of sweetner would do the trick!
((I’ve had so much starbucks in the past week it’s crazy))
Split a venti soy chai fraupiccino with my sister yesterday, ordered just a simple tall chai this morning.
Dude. I work at Disney okay. There are 3 Starbucks I work at and it’s cheaper on property than at a regular Starbucks so… yeah
Lazy day so it’s this tea in my DT cup shaped filter tonight!
Thank you VariaTEA for sending this tea to me! I love rooibos so much, and this definitely had that woodsy smell to it. Don’t really smell the strawberries and cream so much dry, but once I poured the water in, the other non woodsy flavours came out :)
Right now it just tastes like water but SOOOON, I had a slight hint of strawberry so I’m excited for this tea!
Mmmm a very lovely tea. I can definitely taste the strawberries and cream, with a slight hint of wood coming from the rooibos!
Stuck my hand into my matcha bag and pulled out Sample #3 from Red Leaf!
In other news, I was so excited for the VoluntEARing opportunity for class today (we were going to the LA Food Bank and help out), but I woke up at 7:50 and we had to be there at 8… yeah it takes about 40 minutes to get there WITHOUT traffic. So I texted my teacher and told him that I wasn’t able to make it. I was so sad!
I was in bed at around 11, but I didn’t sleep till 5am and when I was finally asleep, I was tossing and turning all night long. Last night was terrible and I wasn’t able to volunteer which made today even worse.
So a cuppa matcha to hopefully make my day better, even if it’s already halfway over
This tea is FANASTIC and thank you TONS to QueenOfTarts for sending it my way! I was talking to my friend via snapchat and she had peppermint tea earlier, and I decided to drink this to make her jealous hehe :)
IN OTHER NEWS I STARTED WATCHING THIS SHOW LAST WEEK.
It’s called In the Flesh and it’s fREAKIN FAB. ALL THE CHARACTERS. MUCH WOW.
But in all seriousness. I finished the series 2 finale earlier today and it was SO good .hey haven’t announced a series 3 yet so… I just want a series 3 to happen okay. This show is so so SO good.
Unfortunately, no.
I did watch the first couple on youtube though! But don’t watch the series 1 finale on youtube (the third episode) since the sound cuts out at the end during one of the most emotional, heartwrenching scenes :’(
Tried this as a teapop and it’s actually one of the more successful teapops I’ve ever made! It actually tastes like something fruity, not watered down tea haha
This smelled a bit weird as it was steeping, but when I poured it into my mug, it was good. Just a touch of agave as a sweetener!
Thank you to TraceyC for sending this to me for the tealephone!
My past couple of teapops have been veeery watered down.
This time, I ignored the whole weighing my teas and literally scooped a heaping tablespoon into my jar (I brew tea in a mason jar bc cheapo college student hehe). I poured just enough water to cover the tea and let it steep according to the instructions (5-6 minutes). Then I just poured it over ice and topped it off with club soda! It should be plain old carbonated water, but I ran out of that a while back.
It’s good, but I’ll probably just do it every once in a while since it uses SO much tea
That sounds like something my boyfriend would absolutely adore!! Thank you^.^
haha..and totally feel you on the mason jar brewing.. cheapo college students unite:P
I like this one quite a bit. It’s just the right amount of roastiness.
