553 Tasting Notes
Hello all! Hope you’ve had a great weekend! I’m almost back to the world of tea again. My mom and I made all the flowers for the wedding this weekend out of coffee filters and crepe papers. They look fantastic! Now just have to get the license and the party bus and we are set!
While I was making the flowers, my dad and I had some tea time. Since this tea will officially be hitting the site on October 26th, I thought yesterday would be a great day to try it.
This tea reminds me of pumpkin seeds. Roasted delicious sweet pumpkin seeds with a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon. Really good. I’ve already been told I have to stick to my buying hiatus on this one, but I’d love to get a bigger size. I just adore the roasted flavor mixed with the flavors of a pumpkin pie.
Happy Monday all!

This wedding stuff is for the birds! Between wedding planning, being a mom, and work, I’m missing out on drinking some fantastic tea and checking out whats up on Steepster. I think I’m seeing the end of the tunnel. After having my diamond cracked by the jeweler this month, the venue for the reception trying to tell me delicately that they overbooked, and my photographer almost being a no show, I was about ready to call off the wedding completely. All is fine now, but geez, that was all in a week where work was non stopped and things were nutty. Sorry, enough of my whining!
So this tea is like drinking candy and giving me and my sweet tooth something to cheer about. My stresses are still there but it isn’t so bad. I’m surprised at how good this tea is. Argo Tea has always been hit or miss but this one is spot on. My sister-in-law picked this up for me for my tea themed bridal shower, from Target in a bagged form. I think I need to head down there to see what else they have from Argo Tea!

Good morning all! It has been crazy of late with the wedding planning. I think I say on a daily basis it would have been better to elope. Oh well.
This tea was different and honestly confusing. I think with the 19 ingredients in the blend, the tea itself didn’t know which way it wanted to go either. It reminded me of that muddy flavor you get from certain Adagio Signature Blends. Not one I would need to try again hot, but I’m hoping that with some cold brewing this tea will start to pop.

Enjoying this one while I’m working thru lunch. It’s been one heck of a week! I like it. Fruity with hints of floral. It reminds me of a sweet strawberry floral tea but I’m also eating right along with this tea so that may be screwing up my taste buds. No matter, this one is pretty good. Can’t say I’d want a ton of it but today I’m enjoying it.
This one was soooo good!!! Crisp clean flavors that really make you happy. The white tea base kind of sat back and let the cucumber and mint do their thing. Tasty as a hot tea, iced tea, or as a cold brew. I’ll be sad when this one is gone.

And in other fun tea news-I’m doing my first tea giveaway on the blog. Think Great Pumpkin! (There will be Halloween fun teas involved!)

Sipdown!
These were ok, not my favorite. I think these are an older sample I had which makes sense why the flavor was a bit more bland and not the lovely jasmine flavor I was hoping for. Am going to try the last few pearls as a cold brew for later this afternoon. Hoping the flavors come thru a bit stronger.
