553 Tasting Notes
This is one peppery chai blend. Worthy of it’s name for sure. This would be a great blend to cook with, adding a kick to chicken and vegetables. Kind of reminded me of the spices you would get from Tabasco sauce. Enjoyed it but I’m not sure how often I’ll reach for it to to drink as a tea. I have so many ideas on cooking with it. Don’t think it will last long.

Loved this fresh herbal minty blend of peppermint and spearmint. Seems simple but I’ve had this sort of blend go wrong many times, leaving me with a toothpaste like flavor. This one tasted like fresh cut mint from the garden. Refreshing and Soothing.

This tea was fantastic. Like fresh mangoes in my cup with a green tea backing. Sweet but not overly so. Just my kind of tea. This is one of 3 teas offered in the May subscription plan from Just Add Honey Tea Company. I was pleased with this box (this tea and the honey won me over) and excited to see what will be in June’s box.

Almost done reviewing the line of GoT inspired teas from Margaret’s Fine Imports. It has been a fun project.
Today’s tea is an oolong/green tea blend with hints of jasmine. When this delight is still hot, all you really taste was a smooth grassy like tea with the tiniest hints of jasmine. As it cooled, the jasmine really popped. I’m not much of a jasmine fan. I still enjoyed the cup I had.

This tea just called to me. I love Baskin Robbins Bubble Gum ice cream and I was hoping this would have a similar taste. It didn’t but it made a great iced tea. Cold brew is the way to go to control the hibiscus from taking over the cup. I would love to serve this at a tea party for little girls. . .unfortunately I only have boys. Dang!

This is how I celebrated National Iced Tea yesterday. Pretty nice blend, just could use a bit of a sweet touch IMO. The tea had the correct spiced flavor profile but I had to add in cream to counteract and give it that Thai Iced Tea feel I was looking for. If you like really spiced un-sweet teas, this one is for you.

A floral tea dedicated to House Tyrell and the beautiful Margaret herself. Love that character. Even tho she is a bit manipulative, she isn’t so evil that you hate her. . just yet. I’m curious how her story line will unfold Sunday, if at all.
This tea was a nice white and green tea blend with a floral twist. Not being a floral fan, I did like this one. Maybe I like floral teas more than I thought. The best part of this tea was how nicely the white and green teas mingled together providing this refreshing and soothing taste.
