I have never had a tea with hops in it before. This was a unique experience. Reminded me of the first time I had a beer. You didn’t like it and first but the more you drink it the more you liked it. I thought this one was better cold. Reminded me of a cold beer with a vanilla finish.

We have Episode 9 tonight of GoT! Woohoo! I can’t wait! In the past, we have had shockers on Episode 9. Ygritte’s death, the Red Wedding, our beloved head of the Stark family literally losing his head. . . In honor of GoT this week, I will be reviewing GoT based teas all week besides my typical Tea of the Day.

Today is Wilding White- a white and green tea with peppermint and lemongrass. Very soothing!

I loved the idea of having a gin and tonic tea. But I didn’t get the “tonic” taste. What I did end up with was a delicious lime flavored mate with hints of mint.

This is a fabulous bagged tea. Sweet and cherry with the sencha giving it such a smooth finish. This isn’t overly sweet. Just the right amount. Hot it was fantastic but brewed up as an iced tea. . .This was pure cherry bliss!

Yet again, the horror geek in me is coming out. This tea made me think of iced tea for the summer days. . .which makes me think of swimming. . .which makes me think of. . . Jaws. Strangely this is how my brain works 90% of the time. Ha!

Yep, reading that right. Garlic Tea. And it was actually good. The garlic pieces were pretty good sized but the tea mellowed the garlic a bit. Very savory and didn’t stink up the office too much. The garlic tasted so incredibly fresh! I really liked this one. Didn’t think I would, but it just really works.

The packaging on this tea was beautiful and I learned that this company gives back. They are currently helping build a school and a library in Kenya. This will be a define purchase in the future for a larger size. I want to cook with this.

Oh and to pull a bit of my horror geek into this review- This tea would keep Dracula away for sure!

This is pineapple love. Such a sweet but not overly sweet breakfast blend with notes of citrus and pineapple. I took this down in no time. Even cold brewed this was good. Sunshine Cottage is just such an adorable Etsy store. She even has tea jewelry. I have my eye on a few pieces. Her site has some fantastic sounding flavored black teas. Yum!

SPRINKLES!!
Yep. Just seeing sprinkles in this blend made me pick it up right away. I was a bit disappointed how subtle the vanilla and mint were when brewed hot but brewed cold, those flavors are bright and at the forefront. But again, did I mention Sprinkles?
