56 Tasting Notes

Mmm! I’m catching up with a lot of tea reviews today!

This tea is quite tasty. Very nice for the summer! I like how fruity it is – quite refreshing! The only problem I have with this tea is that if the tea is left in too long, the hibiscus begins to take over and become very tart/bitter. I just pay attention to how strong I make it and I can usually avoid this issue!

Overall, this tea is really yummy and quite a bit sweeter than I expected. I like it, but I don’t think I need a permanent stock of it. I’ll definitely drink it again, but there are other teas that I enjoy more iced!

This tea is delicious!

Honestly, this is the perfect iced tea. The combination of the berries and lemon is just wonderful! There is a perfect amount of tartness without it being too much. The colour of this is beautiful too! The caffeine in this IS electrifying! I don’t normally find myself affected by caffeine, however this tea gets me buzzing (though I would still purchase it if it was caffeine free for flavour alone)! Sometimes I add sweetner, and sometimes I don’t; it is great either way.

Though I have only had it iced, I am curious as to how it will taste hot. A friend of mine told me it is good, so I’ll have to try it. This is by far one of my favorite iced teas. My top three iced from David’s Tea would have to be Berry Refreshing, Electric Lemonade, and Magic Dragon.

I only purchased 50g of this, but I will DEFINITELY be returning to purchase MUCH more of this. It is absolutely amazing!

Mmm!

I purchased this tea while travelling this summer! I figured it would be a good refresher for the long travel days! I first tried it cold in store. Though I enjoyed it, it wasn’t as strong as I would have liked. I love my black teas extra strong. Because of this, I purchased 50g to have to make my way! I like it stronger much better, especially when it is iced. I don’t think it really needs it, as the tea itself is pretty sweet, but I love this with a little bit of sweetner in it. Definitely helps bring out the soda flavour.

I also tried this tea hot and enjoyed it, but I would say that it is a lot better cold than hot.

All in all, I’m glad that I purchased this tea, and I’m glad I still have some left. I won’t be heartbroken when my stash is gone, but I will have enjoyed my time with it!

I was in store the other day and picked up 50g of this to try.

I have mixed feelings about this tea. It isn’t bad, but something throws me off about it…I think it might the smell.

In some sips, I got the fruity notes of cranberry and orange. These were yummy sips! The two flavours were balanced pretty well; neither was overpowering, which was nice. I also got some nice cinnamon flavours in here.

Other sips, however, were quite bitter and not tasty at all. I’m not sure what caused this to happen. I have never had dandelion root in tea before, so I am wondering if that is the problem for me.

I wish this tea would be more consistent from sip to sip. I wanted to love this tea. I do not get any muffin flavour from this at all. While the orange/cranberry sips were enjoyable, I probably will not buy any more of this. I still have about 40g to finish, and that is more than enough for me.

I recieved a free sample pouch of this tea in store when I made a purchase the other day!

This tea 100% smells like a peanut butter cup! That was pretty exciting when I opened it! After making it, I could still smell the peanut butter cup. This was nice because sometimes the smell of tea changes quite a bit when it is in liquid form! The only problem with all of this is that I’m not a HUGE fan of peanut butter. I enjoy them once in a while, but I have to be in the mood for it.

After drinking this, I decided that it does taste very much like a peanut butter cup. They really hit the nail on the head with the flavouring! My only problem with this is that I kind of have to be in a peanut butter cup mood – I very rarely eat them. It’s not that I don’t like them, they just aren’t a staple for me. While I found this tea to be true to its name, I don’t think I like it enough to purchase it.

If you love peanut butter cups, I would definitely recommend it, however if you are kind of neutral towards them, this may not be the tea for you.

This tea is absolutely delicious!
When I saw that it was out, I was worried that it would be kind of cidery (I hadn’t read the ingredients at that point). Cider isn’t bad by any means, but I was really hoping this would have a light and refreshing flavour, which it definitely does!
It tastes just like apples, but not in an “apple juice” way. It tastes as though you are biting into the apple itself. It is sweet enough without sweetner, and is amazing both hot and cold. The pear in this tea comes through just enough without being overpowering.

I would watch when making this that you don’t make it too strong though, as it becomes kind of bitter and takes away from the amazing flavour.

This is easily a new favorite of mine, and definitely my favorite from the fall collection! I will have to stock up before the season is over!

I got this tea in the caffiene free iced tea collection! I love those little tins. They’re the perfect size for sampling! (This is how I discovered my love of coconut ice and hard candy!)
I was really excited when I saw guava cadabra in this collection. I have a friend who had had it and loved it, so I had been meaning to try it for a while. I guess I just forgot about it every time I went in!

I don’t know how I feel about this. It isn’t bad at all. It also isn’t wonderful. I had this tea iced. I really like the flavors of the mango and guava (I have never had guava before this) that come through. The tea brews very strong, which I also enjoy. There is something about it though that makes it seem kind of one-dimensional. It might be due to the sweetness of it? There is just one layer of flavor…I’m not sure how to describe it. It seems as though others understand though, a few other reviewers have said similar things.

So would I drink this again? Yes. Will I buy it to keep in my cupboard? No.
Its not bad, but there are others that I prefer!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS TEA
Okay, so coconut ice cream is one of my favorite kinds of ice cream. My mom gave me some of this to try and, having it cold, my first thought was “mmmm coconut ice cream!”. Then I read the description of it and that’s how the flavor is described! Love how accurate this is.

This is the first coconut tea I have really been a fan of from David’s Tea. Some teas with coconut in them are okay (Gold Rush), but others are just not okay at all (Cocomint Cream). I really love this tea though! I will definitely be stocking up on this so that I can have a permanent stash this summer!
