I’ve been looking forward to trying out another of the samples from Yezi. 3 out of my 4 samples were oolongs, but I put off sampling them because I haven’t been in an oolong mood lately. I think that is about to change because this tea is wonderful. I just wish I hadn’t been so distracted while I was drinking it, but it is after midnight already and I still have a lot to get ready before my guests arrive later today.
This tea has such a wonderful buttery texture to it. I love to find this texture in a tea, those are the ones that I generally get lost in, although there isn’t time for that tonight. It wasn’t nearly as floral as I expected, instead it had a subtle sweetness to it. Another wonderful sample from Yezi Tea, I can’t wait to try the other two later today.
Preparation
Another sipdown for today. I’m still hoping to get to 100 before month end but i’ve got a few left to go and not a lot of teas in sipdown range heh. Oh well, just means an even harder target in April lol this one was just the right balance of malty and bold today.
I had this one yesterday while we were out and about. I think we over did it a little as by the end of the day we were both sore and today i’m a little worn out. This was a great tea – i really need to keep drinking my yezi teas. They are one of those companies that i forget about, drink again and remember how much i enjoy their teas. lol
nomity, nom, nom. If i can’t get to my goal tonight, i might as well enjoy some of my older teas haha. Pulled this one out just to enjoy the delicious malty, cocoaey notes of this one in a very long day…
This is one I looked at picking up as a sample when I place my Yezi order
come to my place…pick some up…go shopping in my cupboard lol
Haha well I will eventually have to drop boxes off so perhaps then :). I can also bring any teas of mine you would like to try (thought I doubt there is much you have not already tasted)
Semi sipdown on this one since I finished 1 of 2. Packages this morning. Slow going with tea drinking as we’re spring cleaning the house from top to bottom today…..so much dust and things to throw out….so good :)
Still enjoying this tea, though i think it’s my least favourite of the yezi teas :)
mmmm morning tea from forever ago! I was cleaning up my cupboard over the weekend and realised that i had a small bag of this that i could tuck into my easily accessible teas even though it isn’t one of my older teas. I haven’t had this one in a while and was once again reminded at first sip, why i love Yezi teas. Just a delicious, smooth inviting black tea for this wonderful wintery day filled with snow!
I had this again today because that is a semi sipdown. I’ve finished off the bit from the BBB Box that tastybrew sent us and now i just have the ounce that i recently purchased myself for black friday haha. Still a win since it’s an “older” tea out of my cupboard haha I love this one. not much more to say beyond the fact that it’s a good, tasty, tasty black and another find offering from Yezi tea. I’m glad tastybrew found them!
oh man.. another delicious tea for the morning but now the mail is here and i’m like OMG! what do i drink first!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! so glad that once this little batch from tastybrew is all finished up, i have the additional ounce i ordered from yezi. i am super happy with their teas!
had a cup of this in the morning. Another tea from the BBBBox from tastybrew! I love how confusing this tea is :) it’s chocolatey and sweet and fruity and peachy and my mouth is all over the place. haha It really is a neat tea and another great tea from yezi!
Tastybrew sent this our way in the BBB Box. Since i may want to place another order with Yezi in a couple of days, I figured i’d better try a few more of their offerings so i can place a larger order.
This is a fruity, almost peachy tea. The aroma has a hint of spice to it, though the tea itself does not. There is maltiness to this brew…along with hints of cocoa that blend with the fruitiness. Overall a really nice tea!
