I just finished up 4 infusions of this.
The first was a lovely gentle malt and black tea taste. the 2nd and 3rd were a bit on the lighter side of a black but still tasty. The 4th was about the same strength-wise as the previous two but I could pick up on fruity notes! It was neat!

I seriously thought I had logged this one…I’m rather certain. Anyhow…I had this one earlier today and really enjoyed it. Now that I cannot find my logger-first review I will make a note to give it another go next week and review further.

Surprisingly tasty, smooth and slightly chocolatey. Hint: Use good quality water when brewing this tea.

I don’t tend to be too fond of flowery teas, but this organic Bai Mu Dan is only very slightly floral. In fact, the liquor is so smooth and delicate that I find myself working overtime trying to identify the flavor elements. BUT then I remember to relax and surrender to the tea. Yeeessss… there’s a sweet, fruity essence that lingers on my pallet. What a lovely, delicate, floral, fruity, and smooth cuppa.

BTW, this stuff also produces a decent second infusion, unusual for a black tea.

Truly an outstanding tea. The dry leaf has a hint of pine in the nose, but the taste is pure caramel. Not a hint of astringency or bitterness, but this is by no means a “flabby” tea either. Delicious, simply delicious.

I had never heard of teavivre until I read your post. Checked out the website and found some nice selections—and the prices are good!

Slightly sweet and slightly floral. A bit juicy and velvety as well! Thumbs up! This is a nice relaxing white tea :)

Any Bai Mu Dan I’ve ever cupped had some nutty notes to them. Did you pick any of that up? Judging from the picture, this Bai Mu Dan may not exhibit these qualities, but it looks like a great tea! :)

TeaEqualsBliss

I, personally, didn’t ‘get’ any nutty flavors in this…sweeter/floral, mostly :)

As I open this package I am amazed! It’s DOUBLE Packaged!!! Nice! At first sniff – the first word that came to mind was “Crispy”…Awwww-yeah!

As the air hit the loose leaf the aroma was enhanced to a Croissant-like smell! Again, VERY nice!

The color post infusion is a medium brown.

The taste is brilliantly bold! Very defined! It’s smooth yet chewy and leaves a semi-sweet aftertaste that I really like!

This is VERY memorable! I like this VERY much! For now…I’m going with a very high 90’s but that may change for the better :)

Oh Fujian! ♥

It seems like a lot of packaging to me, from an environmental standpoint… a little sad

TeaEqualsBliss

I reuse all my packaging tho! :) Esp in swaps and crafting! So I already repackaged tea in the extra little bit. The packaging overall wasn’t overly significant…it was very lightweight and not very large.

TeaBrat

I know I am fussy. I would have been fine with a much smaller envelope for these little guys since I don’t save the envelopes. c’est la vie.
