OMG!!!!! This tea is DELICIOUS iced!! Totally blew me away. Me needs to order this one next time I order from Tea Taxi. 100% all the way. Very fruity and light and refreshing. I can definitely taste the mangos in it and the other fruit complement it very nicely. Oh my…my only complaint is that I wish I had some more right now-received it as a sample pack.
*Update: Delicious with a 2:1 ratio mix of Mango Fruit Punch and Carribean Crush.
YUM! I really like this tea! I found it smelled a lot like Nutty Granola Crunch from DavidsTea so I was a little worried because I wasn’t a fan of that one. But this tea is delish! So far I am really impressed with Tea Taxi’s teas.
*Update: Tried this as a latte and it is AMAZING! Tastes like a peanut butter cup.
The cinnamon in this reminds me of cinnamon flavoured salt water taffy. The base is a bit strong, but I might have let it steep too long. There are some fruits and spices in there too. It is very warming on a cold night.
Lots of tannins and the base isn’t astringent, which is nice. I wouldn’t buy this blend, but it was nice to try.
Flavors: Artificial, Cinnamon, Fruity, Nut Fruits, Nutty, Spices, Tannin
Preparation
Opened the package and caught a nice whiff of the product. Looks a lot like Genmaicha from DavidsTea. This tea did not smell so good brewing though. I could not decide if I liked this tea or not…but I did manage to finish the cup so couldn’t be that bad, right? Definitely not one I would buy more of though.
Our puppy got spayed. I was attempting to drink this tea while taking care of her. That didn’t really work out well seeing as I maybe got one or two mouthfuls and that was it. From what I recall it did taste like kiwi and the base was no where to be found, though I am not the best judge of kiwi flavor in general and from a few distracted sips, my memory can’t really be relied on. I think I liked it though.

Mug of something light and fruity before a well deserved midday nap…
I was gonna pair this one with some candied ginger but as I was taking the first bites of the ginger I realized it was far too spicy/strong a flavour to match well with the tea. It would have completely masked the flavour of it. But anyway…
Papaya? Check!
Ginger? Check!
It’s definitely really accurate and the liquor is smooth and fruity without bitterness/astringency. The only problem is that I’m just not feeling it; neither the papaya or the ginger are totally meshing with me, and I kind of feel like they don’t go together well either even though both flavours are clear and well executed. Oh well; can’t love them all and I’m sure there’s someone out there who adores this one!
Points for accuracy, regardless.
I have tried most of DavidsTea teas and I miss trying a whole bunch of new teas, so I decided to ask for a subscription of tea from TeaTaxi for a gift idea. Well, I got it! I totally squealed with joy when my parcel arrived in the mail lol This is my first pick to try from this company. I am quite pleased. It tastes very yummy with a hint of vanilla that is not overpowering. I would like this tea again and I have enough for another cup! Yay! There seemed to be a lot of tea in the sample pack so I decided to use a perfect tea spoon to measure out the tea to be safe and I am so glad I did or this tea would be too strong to drink lol I guess I could always remedy it by adding more hot water though. 9 more to try. They send 10 samples a month for a year! I am so looking forward to trying them all.

Finished this one off on the bus ride home from work; I just brought the sample packet with me and made it on my way out of the store…
It’s weird how bang on the watermelon smell/taste is given there’s no actual melon in the blend (apart from, I assume, flavouring). It’s just so convincing, sweet and juicy though! And that also really comes through in the flavour. At first it’s light, freshly cut grass but it transitions so gently into a sweeter, fruity watermelon with bright plummy undertones. I don’t think I’d call it the most natural watermelon flavour, it’s a bit too sweet I think; but it’s not cloying or overly artificial either. What it reminds me of is those watermelon five cent candies that are like little pink gummy wedges? Very similar to that, but a fraction less candy like. It’s really good and I definitely want more of it.
Wishlisting this for future Tea Taxi orders…

Finished this one off late last night after I’d gotten home from work! It was surprisingly sweet, with a strong presence of coconut, apple and carrot! Honestly the carrot was the big shocker out of that range of flavours – lately this has almost been more of a spice cake flavour without any carrot, so glad I got some in this last cup. As for the spices, there was a whole lot of cinnamon and honestly not a lot else this time around – I’m not complaining though, the cinnamon tasted nice mixed with everything else.
To be honest, I likely wouldn’t buy this one again – but I don’t regret buying either. It was really nice to have around this autumn/winter in general, as well. Pretty solid, and mostly consistent in terms of flavour.
Hot cuppa, with pizza!
Pizza and tea is the best kind of pizza, tbh. This was a decent enough one; enough spice/body to hold up pretty decently to the grease and strong tomato/cheese/onion in the ‘za – and it’s a better drink choice than soda or something else gross for you for sure. Pizza is already bad enough, why make it worse? This was mostly coconut, again, with allspice, cinnamon, and clove notes and hints of ginger and carrot. I’m still enjoying it pretty well, but to be honest getting a touch bored. It’s for the best though – one more cup and it’s gone. It’s a good time to be getting bored of it.

I was craving a good carrot tea after my disappointing mug of DT’s Carrot Cupcake, so this is what I reached for as an alternative/improvement. I think what I really wanted was that warming spice quality without the licorice root that’s in DT’s blend. The coconut was an added bonus too; I really, really love the addition of coconut in this tea.
Halfway through, I decided it was missing that creamy element that would have come from a cream cheese frosting. We were out of milk though, but we had Butter Pecan creamer which I thought was close enough. So, I added a splash of that. It made the brew a little sweeter, but still not as sweet/cloying as Carrot Cupcake. Plus, the nutty element just works well with everything else.I’m working on sipping down the last of my tin of this one since I recently ordered some more rooibos blends to take the tin space – that’s a perfect excuse to brew this up more frequently this autumn season and really enjoy this tea since it is a little bit more of a fall flavour.

Made this one in my tea press the other night – I wanted something caffeine free to sip on, but not fruity. This is a really good option for that. I also find it hard to believe I’ve only drank this two other times before now! I feel like I’ve had it for so much longer/ drank so much more of it than that. Huh…
Recently I had a Carrot Cake tea from Tickled Tea though, and I have to say that of the two this is the one that I prefer. The spice elements just seem more balanced, I can actually taste the carrot notes, and the coconut is just such a nice element that brings a lovely sweetness to the overall profile that I just felt was lacking in Tickled Tea’s version. Of course, I do think that the carrot flavour in this tea could totally be stronger and both teas lacked the ‘cream cheese frosting’ that I think is such an essential part of Carrot Cake. So, there is room for improvement.
It’s still such a lovely flavour though – and really fitting now that it’s getting to be autumn.
Commute tea!
I enjoyed the range of mild spice notes; they all seem to fuzz together a bit to the point where they weren’t super identifiable but it did do a nice job to create an overall “spiced cake” vibe/feeling. The carrot itself was lighter, more in the second 1/2 of the sip and finish. Top notes were sweeter coconut.
Pleasant, and warming! Really nice for shitty winter weather and snow.

- Made a pot of this for myself!
- Definitely a spiced carrot cake/spice cake feel
- Heavier on the clove/cinnamon/ginger than other spices
- Coconut is a nice touch; brings out some sweetness
- The carrot notes definitely come through pleasantly
- Would like to see some “Cream Cheese” component
- But it DOES taste good/get the flavour across
I may have a new favourite dessert tea! When my samples from VariaTEA arrived on Friday, the whole package smelled amazing, and this was the culprit. I absolutely loved it. The sweet. creamy marshmallow, the pastry graham cookie flavour, the rich cocoa. This whole blend was phenomenal, and I will definitely be buying from this company in the future just for this.
Plus, it resteeps twice and is great in a latte or plain.

Thank you to VariaTEA for this sample!
While this does oversteep if left for too long (gets too acidic and acrid), I really enjoyed having a unique caffeine free blend that was completely different from anything else in my collection.
There are definite flavours of apple, lime, citrus, hibiscus, goji berry? some sort of berry I can’t identify, fruit, and mint. I also tasted notes of cream, berries, herbs, and lemon. I thought the mint was a bit odd in a fruity blend, but overall it was still nice to try. I would probably brew it cold/iced in the future if I ordered it again.
Flavors: Apple, Berry, Citrus, Cranberry, Cream, Fruity, Goji, Herbs, Hibiscus, Lemon, Lime, Mint, Peppermint, Sour
